Ett Hem is a beautiful property tucked away just outside the centre of the city. It has a small boutique feel and is spread across two houses - it was the loveliest sanctuary for the NYE break. As it was NYE, the hotel was very busy and so only the smaller rooms were available. I was a bit concerned about this but the lounges, open to the residents to use as they like, meant that we had an abundance of space. The lounges have cosy furnishings, fires lit every afternoon, lots of snacks to which you can help yourself, an honesty bar and teas and coffees are willingly delivered up (which is handy as these facilities are not in the room). Make sure you get the hot chocolate! There is also a small gym with treadmills, limited weights and other cardio machines which is fab. A sauna can also be booked by residents and there is a yoga room. We dined twice, once al a carte and once for the NYE menu. The food is exceptional and can't be faulted. The pasta was billed as the house special and the mushroom and truffle ravioli was amazing. What makes the property however is the staff, who are an absolute credit and work so hard. They do it all, check you in, work in the restaurants, understand the wine, take the room service up, service the lounges, give recommendations on how to spend your day - they're such a dynamic team and we hope they're appreciated as they should be! The only minor hiccup we had was on check in, as we felt the team was a bit stretched, but that's no fault to them and they handled it well despite seeming short handed.

We loved our stay at Ett Hem. The hotel is designed to feel like a house and has multiple communal living and dining rooms. The decor is beautiful - high end but homely and cosy. Hot drinks are served on a complimentary basis in the living rooms and there are also delicious treats around, including home cooked cakes, toffees and chocolates. There is also an alcohol cabinet, with a wide range of drinks available on an honesty basis. There is also a stunning outdoor area with comfy seats and fires. Our room was not huge but very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of storage, a large TV and lovely bathroom filled with excellent products. There is a very good gym and sauna in the hotel. We enjoyed evening meals at the hotel twice and breakfast everyday. Every meal was delicious - top quality and fresh. The staff were superb throughout. The hotel is well located in a nice quiet residential suburb but only a short walk to the shopping area and but further to Old town and the waterfront.

When you think of a place that truly is where its suppose to be Its Ett Hem. As a very crticial traveler and one who often travels Solo I couldn't ask for a better place. The design is so well thought out and curated it feels like a luxury hotel, but it also feels very much like home. The staff is very kind and most become friends by the end of the stay. The food and beverage program is out of this world. I had some of the best meals of my life in the kitchen with the chefs. I met a couple of guest that will be life long friends. I truly believe that this is one of the best hotels in the world. It in itself is a reason to come to Stockholm. Hugo, Alice, Othelia, Fred, Frederick, Eric and all the other cast mates were incredible.

I was pleasantly shocked how wonderful this hotel was, truly the best in Stockholm. It is located in a quiet, affluent area that is a 15-20 minute walk into the city center. The set-up is uniquely residential with exquisite furnishings and art. My Attic Suite was truly a sight to behold with wood paneling, engraved ceilings, a working fireplace, and beautiful decor. They thought of everything in the room to a clothing steamer, snacks, cold filtered water, replenished fresh flowers, etc. The food is truly delicious with a large spread for breakfast (which is never varied however). All dinners were delicious. Staff were warm, friendly and personable. Gardens immaculately maintained. A delight around every corner. This hotel is truly on to something to provide a private, homely, luxurious, personalized experience. I've never quite experienced a boutique hotel at this taste, service and luxury level. The absolute best in Stockholm, and top 10 for me in the world, which says a lot at what they have accomplished.

Once you step in you land in design heaven. There is no hotel alike, from the service to the food to the design, to the crackling fires in the garden at night and the exclusive spa, this was a hotel that truly feels like a home. Or rather this is the home you wish you had. Every nook is carefully curated and the rooms have everything you will wish for, from skin care to perfume to a well curated bar and a steamer. The breakfast is freshly made every day including their signature bread. We were lucky to visit during Christmas season and the whole building smelled of saffron buns. Before you leave go visit their shop where you can find their signature fueguia perfume. Can't wait to be back again. Please never change :)

My recent stay at Ett Hem Hotel in Stockholm was an exquisite blend of modern luxury and historic elegance. The hotel’s location in a 1910 townhouse provided a sense of residential comfort in the heart of the city. My room was a haven of design, with Scandinavian aesthetics and contemporary amenities. The central location allowed me to explore Stockholm’s cultural attractions, from the Vasa Museum to Gamla Stan. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a culinary delight, with a menu highlighting Swedish flavors and seasonal ingredients. Ett Hem Hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to this intimate gem in Stockholm.

See previous glowing reviews. But some thoughts: Thanks especially to Alice and Anna who were always gracious, kind, thoughtful. Per our request because my husband wanted steak, Anna booked AG for us (was very good). I think she directed us to Babette first night? So good, I found myself there 3 times over 10 days. Every morning I faced this conundrum of where to take breakfast, oh the many seating options between two houses/patios. Hard to convey how casually decadent each setting was and hard to pick a favorite, but I'll lean al fresco being the CA girl that I am. One fun and homey option is to eat in the gorgeous kitchens whilst cooks prep your meal. Staff are the stars of the show, we can't thank them enough. And their uniforms are a vibe. An eye-opening moment and one where I think EH really excels: I was due to switch rooms mid-stay and the breakfast attendant mentioned my room change as he took my order. Whaa?? How did he know I was changing rooms? Maybe this doesn't sound remarkable (it was to me as I had some anxiety around it) but how do they have time to note details for each guest? The staff is a walking front desk. They know everything. Once I inquired about laundry as I was passing a male attendant on the stairs. He told me he had just delivered it to my room. No need to mention my room # either! Finesse. Anything you require for the day can be discussed with the staff from the comfort of your chair. Lovely that Alice checked in one morning over breakfast, friendly but not intrusive. Ok sorry, I get excited about service. Location: the fact that Engelbrekt Church is moments away is worth the cost of staying here. She is a beauty and I marveled at her on every departure/return. Many dining, coffee, shopping options within 7-15 min. walk. Vasa, Royal Palace (don't miss changing of guard 12:15), boat tours are less than 40 min walk. Walking suited us since we barely used the gym during our long stay. I had high hopes but the gym wasn’t a priority, well-equipped as it was. Fun to see the city and discover shops like Zara Home and H&M Home along the way. I think public transport is close by? But we loved venturing out on foot. It seems as if you always end up in a green and glorious park too. Also found Uber to be very prompt (however if you book in advance, it doubles the cost I think). If you are concerned about location, perhaps book closer to main attractions and finish your vacation with 2, 3 or 9 nights at EH. You'll be glad to have exhausted all the sites, it’s hard to tear oneself away after check-in. At least plan for 2 nights. This hotel is not to be missed if you're obsessed with design and service. Very few hotels can do both. Carolyn deftly caught an error (my fault) in our initial booking and adjusted dates. Pre-arrival communication was excellent and gave us confidence that we chose the right hotel. She kindly booked car service from the airport and really extended herself to ensure comfort during our stay. Loved the soft gray tones of our Superior Rm. Old world charm yet everything looked new. It was flooded with light but had substantial window treatments for proper sleep. In terms of design/space not to mention use of the many lounges, I thought it worth the cost. Design varies between rooms. My sister stayed in a Superior on top floor. Her sherpa chairs were to die, so chic and comfortable; albeit the lighting in her room was rather dim. Maybe there was a dimmer switch? And the plants in each room, plants! No need to pack: a hairdryer (you can simply use their Dyson), flat curling iron, wireless phone charger (wow), face cleanser, face and hand moisturizer, plentiful toothpaste, too much to list, they have it all. Book to avoid serious FOMO. And do make yourself at home.

One of the most welcoming, comfortable, beautiful hotels in our travels. The common areas are warmly furnished with comfortable furnishings, lots of beautiful contemporary art through out the hotel. The room furnishings make one feel at home with very comfortable beds. The breakfasts are truly delight full with freshly prepared to order dishes. Lunch and dinners are also prepared per order and served beautifully. The outside court yards are a delightful setting for your meals. The large staff cannot do enough to make your stay the most pleasant! Located in a beautiful neighborhood away from the tourist area.

We had such a great stay at Ett Hem: the house, the food, the friendly service, the immaculate housekeeping -- who could ask for more. This was my first trip back since both the pandemic and the expansion (into the two houses next door: one with more hotel rooms + a new and expanded gym + event spaces + its own kitchen & dining areas, the other with small apartments). The first and second houses are not attached - but you can easily go between them via the courtyard. The second and third houses have their own front doors but also connect via the gym. Don't worry about which house you stay in - each one is amazing, and you can freely go between the two, eat in either one, have a drink in either one, etc. There's nothing quite like Ett Hem anywhere else; I'd recommend this place to anyone. If you like using the metro, Ett Hem is a 5-minute walk from Tekniska högskolan on the red line.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I have absolutely no notes. I don't see how they could improve on pure perfection. From the minute we walked through the heavy wooden door it was like entering another world. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The landscape and sitting rooms are cozy and well appointed. Both buildings feature an inviting kitchen with round the clock snacks. There's an honor bar for when you might crave a casual drink and then have a wander into the garden or balconies. And we loved our room. Big, comfortable bed, a clawfoot soaking tub, a rain shower. They warned me that there was no A/C (and I do run hot) but a fan in the room combined with the skylight was enough. I never wanted to leave, although we did take advantage of the bikes to go traveling around Stockholm. But we ate dinner on the property every night, in the kitchen, and it made us so happy. And the hotel does limit day guests, which probably upsets some people, but it does make it much more special for the guests who are staying there. I do wish we'd gotten a proper tour, as I wonder if there's even more delight that I missed. But it's an excuse to return!
