I flew into chania and stayed at the Arkadi hotel for 4 nights. What a great little hotel! Rooms were small but very clean and nice bathroom. Air con worked great as it was still hot in early October. The staff was great and very helpful. I loved the continental breakfast! What a great first stay in Greece! I would definitely stay at the Arkadi again! Thanks Will Morrison 👍🏻😎

Even though the weather was not in our favour during our 5 days stay in Chania. The hotel staffs made sure we had some places to go where the weather would not have much effects. They would take time to find out about the places that we could visit and give us all the necessary information. The hotel is in such a great location, it was easy to get around any major cities in the island. The staffs helped us organise mini tours. Good breakfast, housekeeping staff was friendly too. Overall, it was a great experience in Chania and at Arkadi hotel. i would highly recommend it to everybody visiting Chania especially if its the first time.

A hotel with an excellent location. Clean and modern bathroom, comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and speak very good english, they were even so kind and let us stay an extra hour after check out , due to pouring rain. It's close to the bus terminal, very easy to reach quickly from the airport

we stayed one night as a layover between southern crete and an early morning flight. the hotel was ok. in a kind of hospital room way. it was clean and very very basic, but for the price hey why not? the reception was nice enough and the breakfast was what you expect for one of the cheapest hotels in town. we had a room next to a group of party people so i can tell you the walls are thin but with my earplugs in and the pillow over my head i almost couldnt hear them. so overall it is what it is - a cheap place to spend the night.

I have made several visits this year on business and stayed at the Arkadi on both occasions. In my opinion, overall this without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. Better in many respects than some of the 5 star hotels I use in business. I last stayed at the beginning of December 2016, as the culmination of end of year visits to customers. As usual all staff made feel genuinely extremely welcome from the get go, this is in such contrast to many global hotel chains. The owner and her staff made this stay extremely relaxing as always. I had the best chill out week. The hotel and Chania at this time felt more Christmassy than I have experienced in London in 20 years. All the shops made a real effort. It was reminiscent of my childhood in London it was great! For a couple of…

So close to the Old Town and Harbor. There's also a taxi pickup across the street (a taxi ride is only 5-7€ to the nearby beaches). The housekeeping leaves a new design out of the fresh towels each day on the bed. The free breakfast saved us a lot of money over our stay in Chania but didn't vary much day-to-day but was fine for us. We would and probably will come back and stay at Arkadi again in the future!

I wish someone would put a "mind your head" sign above the entrance to the breakfast room, to stop anyone over 5 feet 10 inches tall cracking their heads on the top of the doorway. The breakfast was the standard continental/Greek meal, perfectly nice, and plentiful. Reception staff here are always very pleasant. The lift is supposed to accommodate three adults, but will take four….my room was plain and simple, but clean and comfortable. I expect rooms overlooking the Square 1866 are the most expensive the hotel has, though perhaps noisier….my room was at the rear of the hotel, with no view apart from other buildings, but was quiet and gave me a good night's sleep. This hotel has the great advantage of being a short walk from the bus station and an easy walk downhill to the…
