Right in the centre of Brussels a three min walk from Grand Place and walkable to most tourist sights . Located on a busy side street with take always, restaurants and bars . Arrived early morning due to early flight from UK and were not able to check in but could leave our luggage safely. Went back at 130pm and were able to check in Large room with modern clean bathroom 016 on first floor at the front of hotel looking out at street Fridge and hairdryer in room and lots of storage. Tv with English Chanels too Good heating and air conditioning Breakfast more than adequate with a selection of hot and cold food Reception area houses a small bar and comfy seating. One negative which is why I’ve given 4 out of 5 is the noise from the street which can go on to the small hours of the morning - suggest requesting a room at the back if this bothers you

Made a pitstop here in Brussels on our way for a month vacation, great location in the heart of the Grand Place. Just 5 minute walk from Brussels Central Station, very clean, friendly staff, and a short stroll to everything you want to see. Great stay for a 1 or 2 night layover in a very nice 3⭐ hotel.

Two nights business stay. 5 minutes to metro "Bourse" and close to "Grand'Place" and many restaurants. Nice room, clean, so is the bathroom. The nights were cold and there was still heating in the room, which is appreciable (e.g. most hotels are in "summer mode" from March in France !). Sufficient choice for breakfast on the top floor with a great city view. Drinks prices at the bar are very affordable. Prices may be high in Brussels, this time was good value for money (€80).

Other than arriving during the old cobblestone street being closed off for a festival - we were most pleased. The bar was nice & welcoming; there are so many restaurants within a block; For the location - the price & comfort can't be beat; Quiet room; and, the breakfast view is just as shown - beautiful view on the 7th floor; food was good - NO complaints with eggs, bacon, croissants, juices & more.

19/23 June 2012 We booked an executive room in a quiet part of the hotel for 4 nights for my birthday. We were given a standard room which was very basic 509. I complained and they offered me an executive room which was on the first floor. At 5pm I went to look at the room - the noise from the disco in the Swinger's club next door was unbelievable. I told them this was unacceptable especially as I had requested a quiet room in April. The receptionist said they had other nicer rooms and he would leave a note for his colleague to sort it out the next morning if we stayed in 509 that night. We went down after breakfast and were told there were no other rooms available except the ones we'd been offered. There is no way we would have got any sleep in the first floor room so we reluctantly stayed put. He suggested they made our room into an executive room by putting a tea tray in there! No standards ! We were charged at the end for an executive room and told to complain to head office. I did several times and the company Venere .com. Neither had the courtesy to reply to my complaints which is why I've decided to do this review.

We stayed here in the summer. booking in went fine. We were informed that we could have a cerials breakfast in the downstairs reception or walk across to the Harliquine Hotel a block away. We did this and the system worked really well ( The other hotel breakfast room is on the top floor with views of the roof tops). The Floris Grand Place is unusual when you arrive as its basically a door in a narrow street. The big plus is the narrow street is 10 meters from the grand place. The room we got was large for two people and clean. The views were of the building next door about 2 feet away, but we were in a bunch of closely packed buildings so we expected this. We were on a break to Brussels so after breakfast and a night sleep we wanted a location near to the center not to spend time in the hotel so this hotel suited us fine a little querky in layout but the location was spot on. ( More convienint than the Forte Amego but hundreds of pounds cheaper a night) The hotel is basic but clean when we were there and apart from its location has not a lot to shout about - but this was more than reflected in the price. We got a cheap hotel in a super central location and spent our time enjoying Brussels -

Booked this at the last minute as it seemed to be in a good location. When we arrived to check in, we had to wait while the receptionist on duty dealt with a customer, who by the sounds of it had experienced the night from hell. The customer's attitude was polite, the receptionist was extremely aggressive, verging on rude - when I heard the phrase 'if you book an easy jet hotel, you get a easy jet price' and 'if you want a good room you shouldn't stay here' - the complaint ended with the receptionist saying he didn't care about bad reviews as 'you won't be the first, you won't be the last' - alarm bells should have rang. Check in itself was silent, and the room key pretty much shoved at me, and we departed to the sixth floor. The room itself was a disappointment, it was very very small, the bed had seen better days, but it was clean. There was not much space in there. It had also been a smoking room as it still smelt of it. The bathroom was small as well. The television had lots of channels but took about 20 minutes for the picture to settle down, and become watchable, which was a bit annoying. I didn't bother complaining given what i had witnessed at reception, and wasn't planning to spend much time in the room. In its defence, the room was cheap..... Much is made of the breakfast buffet, which to be fair is on the 7th floor and does have a great view. It was pretty basic and didn't look much like the pictures on their website - hot offerings were a small amount of scrambled eggs and cremated fatty American style bacon, there were juices and coffees, a very very small selection of cooked meats and cheeses, rolls and croissants - it was included in the room price so guess I shouldn't complain too much. Hotel clientele seemed to be primarily backpackers and student tourists, and given the quality of the rooms that appears to be who the hotel caters for. Wifi was pretty expensive so didn't use. We were only there for one night, and slept OK, but have to agree with the other negative reviewers - if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Had I been staying longer, I would probably have gone elsewhere, which is a shame, as the hotel is in a good location, it just needs major work on its offering.

Only stayed at the hotel 2 nights, and that was more than enough. If we weren't on such a tight schedule I would have immediately booked another hotel. The room was remarkably small even for a European hotel...it reaked of mildew...both the sink and shower were clogged so you basically showered in a pool of water...which by the way smelled. Save your money and stay away from this place. One last thing...I requested a wake up call for the morning we were to leave (There was no alarm clock in the room), and surprise surprise, no call.
