This hotel does it right, a very old building has been rehabbed recently, to give you a uber special vibe. Best location in this beautiful city, right across the street from the Banhoff. Special kudos to NEVIO at the front desk, what a nice, helpful, genuine wonderful person, you are lucky to have such a great associate!

Can't miss it-- it is facing the Bellinzona train station-- only 50 steps away:-) Check -in was a breeze and reception was friendly. We booked a Deluxe Suite as it was the last room available on the weekend for 2 persons. It was a very good experience. The suite was spotless , mattress was very comfortable. Manager welcomed us with 2 organic chocolate bars and a nice note on a Bellinzona post card. Slippers were included in the suite. No bathrobes. In-room Safe, unfortunately was not open for us to use, but after telling them at reception, they fixed it promptly. The Deluxe suite was on the 4th floor and it was over 2 floors, 2 bathrooms ( the lower floor one had a toilet and a shower and the upper one was larger and had a toilet and a bathtub/shower). Toiletries were

We stopped off here as a family on the way back from Italy. What a great hotel. Recently been refurbished, the rooms were modern, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and the breakfast was good too. They also have a car park for 16che for the night which is handy. Definitely worth a visit

After we unexpectedly left Arosa because of a very offensive situation ...we continued to drive towards Ticino on the way to the Lakes in Italy. Bellinzona is more Italian than Swiss and we found it to be a delightful little town with a market winding through the streets the next morning. Anyway, we usually don't stay in 3* hotels but this was the top place and we were really ready to stop and just relax after a unsettling day. The hotel is nothing to rave about but the rooms are clean and the bed was firm.Best...even though across from the train-station..the room was soundproofed. The restaurant was surprising as it was very good and served regional dishes of Ticino as well as Raclette and other Swiss standards, Breakfast was so so. If you are on a mid-range budget and driving

The hotel is located directly opposite the train station and close to the town center. It's a good base to discover other cities in Ticino. The rooms are small and lacking any extras. We missed a tea/coffee maker and the hair dryer was pretty inefficient. The spa is nice (sauna, turkish bath), however the jacuzzi was out of order during our whole stay of 3 days.

The hotel is located just opposite the railway station, so it is easy to reach via public transportation. The hotel room is small but clean and it has ceiling window. The spa area is also well organized. Last but not least, the hotel restaurant is just excellent from food quality to service, all of our friends are satisfied, this is an extra plus for the hotel!

We stayed for three nights for a tennis tournament. The hotel is near the station, and within walking distance to some local restaurants (e.g. casa del popolo), the castelgrande, and the shops. Parking is provided in the backyard. The rooms are clean and well sized (avoid the fourth floor rooms, however, as they have only ceiling windows and small openings), the bed is confortable, and the breakfast is appropriate. An efficient hotel without being overwhelming.

The hotel is easy to find, as it is located opposite the train station. With a car filled with luggage, we were happy with the secure hotel garage (with direct access to the reception hall). The hotel is a combination of a historic building (as illustrated on old posters) and a modern annex. We had a bright room overlooking the railway station. Although the plaza was very busy, we didn't hear anything in our room. Excellent bedding, good bathroom and free WiFi are welcome features. The breakfast buffet is served in the modern annex on the backside of the hotel and is varied and very fresh. We really enjoyed it before taking the road to Tuscany. Last but not least, the friendliness of the staff at the front desk!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during my Grand Tour of Switzerland with Saga. My room was at the front of the hotel and although it was nice and modern with air conditioning the lighting was very poor. It was dim in the bedroom. It was bright enough in the en-suite but it had top lighting which three shadows on my face when I was trying to put on my makeup. The hotel is opposite the railway station and is within walking distance of shops, cafes, the Castelgrande and the mini train. As a tour group we had a separate dinner menu from guests who were not part of a group. The food was adequate. All guests had the same breakfast which OK.

This comfortable, air-conditioned hotel is opposite the railway station, ideal for travellers planning a holiday by train. The evening we arrived, we were offered tickets entitling us to free travel in the Ticino canton, trains buses. Reductions available on the funiculars and many attractions. (The charge on the hotel bill was just 2 Swiss francs per day.). We travelled in air-conditioned comfort to Locarno. Como, Lugano. We took a post bus up to an Alpine village. Our room was simple but we had a very comfortable queen bed, good view, shower and safe. The air-conditioning was first-class, just as well because the temperature outside was in the thirties most of the time. The breakfast offered a variety of cold meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurt,
