Nice host. On request, host was able to check in us earlier. There is a small communal kitchen. Air conditioning works perfectly. Room was tidy and spacious. Perfect location, main station is within 5 minutes, cathedral is within walking distance. Would definitely stay here for a second time.

The accomodation has a truly great location, in the hearth of city, few minutes from the dome or train station. Towels provided, little breakfast too-eventhough we did not eat it. The kitchen is available, it was a bit messy though.... the bathroom was clean, the room had a heater for cold days, the bed was comfortable. Overall nice stay and I racommend this accomodation.

Location is wonderful. It is about 10 minutes from the train station and right around the corner from the Central Mercado. Easy to get to sites in the city. Rooms are simple but clean. Vanessa is a wonderful host that tries to answer any of your questions and to be helpful. Although our room was booked without breakfast, she made us fresh coffee and tea daily and offered cereal, fruit and danishes. We stayed in a room with a shared restroom and accessing/using the restroom was never a problem. The surrounding streets are noisy, but if you close both sets of windows, it takes away from most of the noise. It also makes the room very dark, which was great for sleeping soundly. Be aware that there are stairs in the building, which wasn't a problem for us, but may be for some if they have difficulty climbing stairs. The towels could be upgraded as they were thin and not very soft. One of the beds in our room was very firm with the other bed being more plush/comfortable. We would stay definitely stay again, despite any of the above.…

First trip to Florence and this place was great. Please be aware that there is no elevator in this building so pack light, otherwise, the room was spacious, clean, air conditioned with a complete, although small, bathroom. The location is close to the train terminal and walking distance to famous landmarks of Florence. The area is lively day and night so it was good that our room had double windows to block out the outside noises. The owner is a young lady and was fluent in English and was very kind.

Vanessa is very helpful and gave us some recommendations about the city. This apartment is located at city centre and convenient to walk around. However, it doesn’t have elevator so we need to carry the luggage to walk up the stairs for 2 floors. Room is spacious and clean. They offer yogurt, breads and coffee for breakfast, also has public kitchen.

its just right next to Florence train station. Just 5 min walk in distance. Rooms/facilities were super clean. Decent breakfast options. Breakfast was given to us free. Owner was very very nice. Value for money. Even though the bathroom was shared, we didn't face any issues.

This place is owned and run by Vanessa a friendly Chinese lady and is actually a home not a B&B or hotel. It's cosy and if you want to see how's Florentian live and how's the home interior looks like this is the place you can try. It's on busy Via Nazionale and you will miss its entrance if don't pay attention. On street number 20 watch out for a large wooden door and the fine handwritten "Affittacamere Vanessa" on the door bell panel. The location is about 8min walk (with luggage, without probably 6) to Florence SMN station and 1 min to the famous Central Market. We can see the market from our room window. Being so close to the market has its downside - the noise. Vanessa has doing what she can to cut the noise by installing two layers of glass windows, but it still can't stop the noise from truck loading food to the shops near the market early in the morning. Vanessa said she is going to install double glazing window in the near future, this should soundproof the room. I travelled with my wife and booked through Agoda. Vanessa only collect the money on the spot and don't charge the booker when the booking is done online. Our Agoda slip mention Breakfast is not included but to our surprise Vanessa is kind enoug H to serve her guess breakfast each morning, albeit simply it create opportunity to chat with others while sitting in the small kitchen. Kitchen has a view overlooking neighbour's balcony and roof, a good place to see how's Venetian home actually looks like from behind.…

We had trouble finding this apartment ( it's on the right and only 500 m from the train station) but once found we enjoyed our stay. Vanessa is very helpful, breakfast is provided and there is good wifi. And it's all within walking distance of everything in Florence.

The location is great, close to everything. The price is reasonable and Vanessa offers a free breakfast even though is not advertised. Vanessa takes great care of the property, speaks excellent English and is super nice and eager to help. she made a few phone calls for us. She takes great pride in her business which is clean. Rooms are very spacious and even though the bathrooms are shared, they are clean and large and there are two shared bathrooms for four rooms so we didn't have to worry about waiting in a long line to get in. It is on a busy street but the windows really block noise. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about it.

A very pleasant stay with basic rooms and very good bathroom facilities. Air conditioning and wifi is free which is just what you need, especially during the hot summer months. *AMAZING LOCATION* Just a short walk to all the central tourist locations. The rooms are quiet at night time and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Rooms are cleaned everyday and towels, bed linen etc are replaced frequently.
