The Residence degli Agrumi is situated in the historical centre of Taormina: charming medieval town strategically located between the majestic Etna and the splendid sea. Ideal destination where you can spend a relaxing vacation and, you can abandon yourself to the emotions, to the beauties and to the old flavours that the pearl of the Jonio offers...All rooms are furbished with the same passion and in Sicilian style and all have indipendent ensuite bathroom with shower. Whatever the season, its irresistible fascination captures both those who seek a peaceful holiday in contact with nature and those who prefer action, excitement, meetings. Futhermore, the great international cultural events which take place there contribute towards making Taormina the best centre to know the rest of tourist Sicily...
We had an amazing time in Taormina and Residence Degli Agrumi! A home away from home, a beautiful apartment with character, beautiful antiques, quiet, airy, sunny, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need. Also, the location is very central. I would stay again when visiting Taormina! Francesco is a wonderful host, always available, very kind and polite. Thank you for everything!

In the centre of Taormina, in a quiet area with lots of places to eat out from restaurants, street food and cafés. The residence is well-organized, very clean with all you need to cook for yourself. Very comfy beds (mattress top in class) and air conditioning in every room. Staff are very helpful. If you are parking or have to stay, remember to call 30 mins before arriving. Great location, great stay, very good price.

The apartment is very nice. It is on the beach, but the public beach is very small and very stony. AND full of jellyfish. To get to and from the apartment you have to go up and down so many stairs. If you are not good at stairs then avoid this apartment as there is no alternative. It is a shame that there is a wall in front of all the windows blocking the majority of a really pretty view. It is very close to the funicular - once you have climbed all the stairs. There are a few really nice restaurants near by on the beach with a great view.

This was such a good location - walk out of the room and you are amongst restaurants and shops and a short walk away from the main road. The place was clean and very spacious. Loved the details in the courtyard and decoration of the rooms - small orange trees, chilli trees etc. Washing machine was a nice surprise. Only downside on the ground floor room was that we couldn't open the windows at the front and the ones at the back opened minimally, meaning that we had to use the air conditioner. Also the garbage trucks picking up the glass rubbish were noisy and came early.

Perfect location. Close to everything, yet somewhat off the beaten path. Clean, comfortable and with all amenities, including on site parking which is a big plus. Beautiful entry terrace, we felt like celebrities when passerby tourists were stopping to take pictures of it. Wonderful restaurants within 5 minutes walk. But above all, the warmth of the owners. They even got us a good buy gift.....

We had the apartment with the roof terrace. Simple furniture, but very clean and spacious. Everything you might need is there. Large fridge and 2 comfortable lounge chairs on the terrace. Even a private parking! The 'view' is very Italian: small street with older houses and lots of flowers. The address is difficult to find and the map they sent us in advance was not very detailled or clear. But when we called they guided us very well through the village and picked us up close by. The area is lovely. And the walk down to the beach quit idillyc. There is also a cable car that can bring you down close to the beach. The cablecar is about 10 mins walk. The beaches are pebbles but there are plenty chairs and umbrella's for rent. We paid around 35 eur for 2 persons for a whole day on first row.…

We stayed here for 4 nights, although we were actually in an apartment on nearby Corso Umberto. Apartment was in a fantastic location and whilst it was on this busy street, it was so quiet and cool in the apartment, we could escape the hustle & bustle. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed. Only point to note is ensure you plan your journey to Taormina before you come. I would recommend calling ahead and confirming exactly where your apartment is and whether you have parking. Then get yourself a decent map as sat nav doesn't help!! We had a complete nightmare as the streets are very narrow and thronged with tourists. We got completely lost and then it turned out we hadn't booked parking, so we had to negotiate our way back out again!! Best bet is to park in one of the park and ride car park on the outskirts and avoid the stress. …

We very much liked the apartment and the terrace. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate well in the apartment. The terrace was very nice and we were constantly entertained by the tout for the restaurant across the way with his, “Cappuccino, coffee, special lunch, special fish, special prices, come on come on, etc’. I am sure I will be able to mimic him for years to come. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. The coffee maker did not work. The internet was fine – no complaints with it. I appreciate that this was Taormina and the apartment could not be more central, so the price may not be that comparatively high. We would certainly stay there again
