We stayed at this charming hotel in a very quiet street within the old city. We were welcome by Martina who made our check in easy and earlier than scheduled. The room is well organized and well appointed with all the comfort including very good pillows. One note is that the furniture is aging fast and is starting to show wear and tear.

Room Tip: The soundproof room had no ventilation system on so if you open the double panned window it is noisy

Great small hotel in the very heart of Verona. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated in traditional Italian style. Large well equipped bathroom, coffee machine and welcome cookies make the stay even more memorable. You can enjoy your coffee in the cozy balcony with nice city view. The staff (we were in touch with Martina) was friendly and helpful.

Hotel located right in the center of Verona. Very friendly service, our room was beautifully decorated in traditional historical Italian style. Lady at the reception was very helpful with tips of where to go, also regarding restaurants and proactively informed us about opera and offered help with booking tickets, should we want to go. If again in Verona, we would surely come back to this hotel!

The downside of this hotel is getting to it by car — impossible during certain hours, as it's in the old part of town that is closed to traffic at certain times of the day. It's about a 10-15 minute walk along cobbled footpaths from the nearest parking station, on the other side of the river. Then there are a couple flights of stairs to climb with suitcases, as the lift does not service the first floor where this small 3-room hotel is located. Once inside our junior suite, we found it was compact, but with enough space for two people and our luggage. Breakfast provisions (cereal, yogurt, juice, fruit, cheese and cold meat) were provided, along with a bag of freshly baked croissants and bread every morning left hanging outside our door. The two staff we met were friendly and very helpful with directions and maps. Two downsides: the wifi signal wasn't great, so emails were very slow to send and the air conditioner struggled to make much of an impression, perhaps due to the high ceilings (or maybe the filter just needed cleaning...). The hotel is in a good spot, within walking distance of the old part of Verona, which is a very chic and pretty town.

This is a small section of a flat that is divided into four rooms, the one occupied part of the day by the single member of staff. First floor with no lift, which is ok but needs saying. Room is smaller and less refined looking than in the photos. Enough storage for a week away, and tiny, almost Juliet style balcony. Bathroom ok, not great. Breakfast is in the room. Prepacked biscuits, jams, cheese slices etc... all pretty basic but plentiful and fresh bread in the morning, nice coffee. Minimal crockery made breakfast not easy to negotiate in such a small space. Felt secure and quiet and clean. Bed comfy. Was ok but not as airy or comfortable as suggested in publicity. Alas did not take own photos of room to allow you to compare

Very nice room, great location. Desk clerk, very nice, explained town very well at checkin. Returned to room early evening with a bottle of wine to relax before dinner. No corkscrew in a couples hotel. She had said to whatsapp if we needed anything. When I did she stated she would bring one in a couple of hours. Had to go out and find a bar that would open for me. Few misses before I found one that would. She was back when we were leaving for dinner, I asked for late checkout she refused. Out by 10 period. When we left in am no one around to call us a taxi. Had to ask florist on next block who agreed to help. Stressfull when having to catch a train.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom + sofa bed apartment which is actually a few blocks away from the rooms on Via Trota. The apartment was modern and spotless with wonderful air conditioning, a great kitchen and a charming balcony. The location couldn't have been better in the Citta Antica and most importantly, we had a wonderful welcome from Miriam who was kind and took a lot of time to tell us about Verona. Would gladly stay here again!

My partner and I traveled to Verona for her birthday in March. We had a fantastic few nights in Verona made all the more memorable by our stay at Vecchia Verona. The staff from welcome to checkout were courteous, professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The location was perfect, 1 min walk to Piazza Erbe, 30 seconds to the river and across the road from a fantastic restaurant where we ate our best meal of the holiday! Every morning there was fresh bread and cornetti left at our door. The coffee and tea machine was well stocked and replenished daily as was the fridge with yogurt, cheeses, ham and fruit. The room itself was perfect. A gorgeously decorated room, very confirmed comfortable bed, sofa area, table and chairs and well appointed bathroom with a great shower! Our stay at the Vecchia Verona, with it's location and all it's little extras made our trip so easy and enjoyable and one that will live on in our memories for quite some time.

Very nicely decorated room, perfect location. Quiet yet in the centre. Juliet house in just few minutes. Hosts were very nice and welcoming. Coffee machine in the room. Some breakfast food is left in the fridge, fresh pastry in the morning- which we found good and convenient.
