We booked our stay 6 months before our arrival. Stayed there 3 nights in February 2023. It was the second weekend of the Carneval in Venice. The location is amazing but it’s very hard to find it the first time. Although you get super detailed directions from Stefano (the owner) but again it’s difficult!!! It is a house actually with a kitchen in the middle and 3 rooms besides. We stayed to the room number 7 which fronts a very busy street and the noise is everywhere all day long and during some hours at night. So just get your earplugs if you are sensitive to that. The mattress and the pillows are old. Don’t wait anything top quality. They offer every day room service upon request. There is quite early check in (at 11) (which was good for us because arrived early) but very early check out as well (at 10!). While we prepared our bags, at 10.10 they knocked our door in order to check out. And at 10.15 they knocked again. ** USEFUL INFO: you have to climb 3 floors difficult steps in order to get in the apartment. If it’s difficult for you, don’t choose this accommodation.

It's about a 6 minute walk from Rialto Bridge or St Mark's Square which makes it a very central location. However it is difficult to find the first time and it is up 3 1/2 flights w/o elevator. (Sort of to be expected in Venice.) A disadvantage of this location is that the nearby restaurants are more expensive. Our room was a good size and the bed was about the size of a queen. On suite bathroom was nicely done but very cramped. There was working A/C which was good because our window overlooked a square which brought up the sounds from the restaurant below. A "B&B" implies "and Breakfast" but we never saw breakfast. We never saw our host. Despite arriving in the middle of the day, about when expected, they didn't bother to meet us and we had to struggle to get ourselves settled in. We only saw the cleaner and she was not helpful. We did not see this "rooftop terrace" that it's supposed to have. Had to do it over again, I would not.

This B&B was by far the favourite of our trip through Italy. The owners are lovely, the room is nice, clean and spacious (not to mention fabulously air conditioned) and there is a great little private rooftop terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view of all the city rooftops. Great location, and it's tucked away which makes you feel like you're really part of the city, not just a tourist passing through!

Great location for the price, just a couple of minutes walk from Rialto and Piazza San Marco. It's a large apartment turned into separate rooms with a communal kitchen area. Owner left us a detailed message to explain where to pickup the keys, no problems. met him later on, very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic, but fine. Slight problem with the air conditioner cutting out on our last night, so it was an hot and uncomfortable night, but that could happen anywhere. As it was very late on a Friday night when we noticed, I didn't bother calling the owner. not a major problem, would book here again, just for the location.

Before we arrived we got very good information about how get to the hotel and that was great! We took the water taxi as adviced and after a while we found the place. It is a climb to get to the place and no lift but if you are ok with that this place has the best location! In between Canal Grande and Piazza San Marco. The beds are comfy and it is nice to be able to put things in the communal fridge. However we missed a place to be able to sit in the room or outside and eat our breakfast.. Maybe a table and a couple of chairs to eat our own breakfast.. In Venice everything is really expensive and even more so if you want to sit down somewhere. It is forbidden to sit down on the street and eat your own food so that is not an option. That is why it would be nice to have a place to eat at least breakfast. The table outside the room was full of brochures and papers so it was not an option. Also the bathroom outside the room was tiny. We are not big people at all but we had trouble showering and moving around in there. If you are on the big side you just wouldn't fit. We loved the location and really liked Venice but it is expensive and so is this place. The service and cleaning was really good.

I m a solo traveler and this room has all I need with good price & value. When I first arrive, there're few rooms in the apartment. I can spot out mine easily as I saw my room with my name on it! :) the room has a separate bathroom which is very great! The decorations is lovely and i loved those paintings in my room. The location is in the city centre and can find shopping places, restaurant and sightseeing very easily. I feel very safe walking by myself even after 11pm. Stefano and the lady serving breakfast everyday are very friendly and helpful! Hope to see them again soon in my next visit!

I stayed here for 3 nights in April and I loved every minute I had in Venice. Stefano is fantastic and sends you amazingly accurate directions to get to the B&B. I was a female travelling alone and I couldn't have felt safer in this hotel. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every morning and the room was clean and warm. As was the bathroom. It's in a fantastic location as you are right in the middle of Venice, but that means you get to see even more of Venice as you choose whether to go left or right to explore this beautiful place. Accommodation is a little pricey, but it's the same everywhere in Venice and believe me when I say I shopped around!! Right outside the hotel and to your right is a small little restaurant and it serves the most delicious food!! (I'm still dreaming about it now months later!) And you should definitely do a boat&walking tour of the Murano, Burano and (I can't remember the 3rd one), you can book that tour before you go and it's well worth it! Most of all...enjoy the wine, the sight-seeing, the people, the culture....And if you can find it, there's a jazz bar that does AMAZING music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as far as I'm aware! I'm a musician and I enjoyed ever second I spent in the place!!

My friend and I stayed at this B&B for 2 nights. Location wise, the place is right in the middle of Rialto and Piazza San Marco, which was perfect for most of the things we wanted to do. The host, Stefano, was really nice and helpful. He sent us directions to get to the house and gave us some recommendations as to what to do/how to get to places. The B&B was clean, there was AC available in the room and the breakfast was simple but good. Now, some of the things to get into consideration before booking is that the private bathroom outside of the room is quite small. There isn't much space to do anything as the toilet, shower and sink almost all touch each other's. The shower is quite small and I personally had problems showering. Therefore, if you are on the "bigger" side of the scale, this wouldn't be the best idea. Another thing to note is that the rooms are not soundproofed at all. You can hear everything, whether it's coming from upstairs or neighboring houses. Furthermore, the people who work there often come in the morning and talk quite loud without any regards of who's still sleeping. If you're looking for a good night of sleep, I wouldn't advice you to stay there.

Literally 5 minutes from Rialto stop, this B&B has a perfect location right in the Centre. The place is shared, but you,'ll get your private bathroom and breakfast to the room, served by a lovely lady. Easy to find, cheap and convenient for a short stop (2-3) nights.

Visited this B&B over the Easter weekend, it Is a little difficult to find but owner e-mailed very good directions and where to find keys. Lots of stairs to walk up, especially with a suitcase. Room clean, bathroom was a little bit small to navigate and hairdryer did not work, owner kindly provided another hairdryer but cord not long enough to look in mirror. Heating or air conditioning not in use when we were there. We were there for 3 nights and towels were not changed at all, could not dry them as heating not on, so had to use wet ones. Ideal location – very central, close to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. Continental Breakfast delivered to room each morning by a very nice lady but it was made right outside the room so it was quite noisy when she was preparing it and she seemed to talk on the phone a lot. All in all – a good, central place to stay for a reasonable price. Please don’t let the small problems put you off.
