For being a 5-minute walk to the Gare de Lyon, with its multitudinous lines of transportation, it was actually quiet. It was an excellent value for money. Of course, double-paned windows helped, and although visible from the front of the train station, it is actually on a residential street a block away from the biggest bustle of the station. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was hearty. Although we wished we could have been on the top floor, where they offered to upgrade us, I really needed the elevator, so we stayed on the 6th floor. We enjoyed a drink at the elegant Le Train Bleu and took some great pictures on Rue Cremieux on our way to the Seine, The Arsenal Basin was interesting, as I had never seen it before. If we had had more time we would have strolled on the Coulee Verte. Easy walk to Picpus Cemetery and Place des Vosges…

It's fine. Reading a lot of reviews here would give you a really skewed idea - actually it was more than fine. Rooms were clean and reasonably recently decorated, staff were helpful, wifi and aircon worked, area is nice and has a lot of good bars and small restaurants. If you want a luxury experience... well, you'd need to pay a lot more for somewhere this central. But we stayed for a week and had a great time, with none of the issues reported by others here.

Just a good hotel for the price in Paris. The room was cozy, along with nice size clean bathroom as well. The room floor is carpet, so you see black stains but the floor is cleaned.Hotel Staff is friendly. The hotel is located near the Gary du Lyon metro station and restaurants/cafes. My only con the elevator didn't work, (thanks I was in the first floor). The locals walk on the street late night, pretty safe even though you'll see few homeless across the street.

This hotel was a convenient location to the train station and many metro stops to get around Paris. The air conditioner worked but shut off every 4 hours or so, waking up sweating nightly. The check in was unfriendly, and the rooms/hotel are pretty dated and small (although pretty clean). Our stay wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t stay here again for the price range.

I choose this hotel because of the rating and the location which was suppose to be close to Notre Dame. The hotel is not close to the center of Paris. However, the metro station Gare De Lyon is close to the hotel. The first receptionist was rude. The floor in the room was extremely dirty. The bed was old and small. The breakfast was very bad. The last receptionist was very nice and service minded and therefore I give the hotel an extra star otherwise it would be only be one.

We had one of the Superior rooms which was pretty small but perfectly eqipped. Good bathroom, with bath. and very comfortable bed. Breakfast can be served in the room at a supplement but was quite generous. The staff were very helpful. The room itself, on the first floor, was very well sound proofed from outside and there was surprisingly little traffic noise. Good value for money.

This is a well appointed boutique hotel with charming interior decoration (cloth wall coverings!), offering a good continental breakfast. The six floors are served by a small lift. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped.
