This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Nestled in a prime London location, The Waldorf Hilton captivates travelers with its elegant theme and live music, despite some feeling that parts of the hotel show signs of age. While many guests commend the cleanliness and the friendly service provided by staff members like Douglas and Nevada, there are mentions of housekeeping and pool maintenance falling short at times. Room experiences vary, with some finding them cozy, yet others consider them outdated. Critics of the hotel's value suggest services may be overpriced, but the easy access to local attractions is a consistent highlight.

Amazing hotel great location . Rooms are beautiful, great area to grab a show. Highly recommend mamma Mia. Great view of the London Eye, fireworks on new year's eve was outstanding. Would definitely return. Breakfast buffet was lovely, even had a champagne breakfast on our wedding anniversary free! Staff decorated our room which was so nice.

Hotel's Favorite
I think that the Waldorf is one of my favourites hotel in London. The staff and the entire team are just fantastic. I went to London from Manchester to go to Beyoncé’s concert. I always love to stay there, beautiful and charming hotel. I was checked in by Rose, she was so efficient, polite and kind. We got an upgrade and it made our stay even more special. Our room was big and beautiful, lovely for a good relaxing night. I’ve also had afternoon tea at the Homage restaurant and it was just incredible, they are doing a “ Beauty and the Beast “ themed afternoon tea and we loved it. Every single details from the table decoration to the food with all the most delicious ingredients to the harp sounds at the background. Ryan and Sophie looked after us for our afternoon tea and they’re just fantastic. So kind and polite both of them. They made sure to explain about all the sandwiches and sweets and the process of making. I was checked out by Olga at the front desk and she was adorable. This team go extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. Thank you so much to the entire team, you guys are doing a brilliant job, in special Thank you so much to Ana and Olga from the front desk Ryan and Sophie from the homage restaurant. Thank you. Warm regards, Etienne Junior. 😉

Certainly! "Choosing to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this stunning hotel was truly the highlight of our year. We had an unforgettable experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the warm greetings at reception to the attentive assistance in every department, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Our room was not only incredibly comfortable but also beautifully appointed. While we thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic dining experience at the restaurant and the splendid breakfasts at the Executive Lounge, we couldn't help but wish for at least a small gesture to mark our anniversary. Nevertheless, our time here has been nothing short of extraordinary, confirming without a doubt that you are the finest hotel in London."

The most disappointing service at Hilton We went for afternoon tea ,40min no one ask for drinks after we call one of the staff member to ask for bottle of wine at list he just serve us his choice of Rose … been giving wrong bill ,over charged ,then at the end after we pay and had few pictures someone was chasing us to say that our payments hadn’t gone through and ask to double pay when we show that we have notifications that the money has been taken from our accounts We did DOUBLE pay the bill and Nikola reassure us that is we have been double charged the refund will be issued … till this day no refund received …. I have been chasing her by email ,calls ,and still no response Very poor service for Hilton ,Very disappointing from the experience we had We celebrated two birthdays no one bring any cake or surprise for the girls (we did put a note is a birthday ) One of us ask for receipt during the payment 3 times and has been ignored No one explain what we are been served and gone trough the expiriance Lovely venu but very very poor service Even with the few issues we had during the tea time never made a complain but when we have been treated that way is very very upsetting

A classic hotel and the room I was in was quite nice with period features and very spacious bathroom. It is not the most modern but I felt it was a cut above the standard Hilton, with the exception I am not sure I’d pay my own dollars to upgrade to this over a DoubleTree or equivalent. Location for leisure is very good, not quite as great for me getting to the City but still fine. No acknowledgement of my Hilton status or upgrade provided.

Excellent value. Great location. Front desk not so friendly but I looked forward to the smiles on our doormen’s faces daily. Concierge recommendations were limited. Room was clean and roomy. We had two single beds that seemed larger than a U.S. single bed. Bathroom quite large. Rooms are very quiet—no street traffic or neighbors are heard. Robes and slippers are in the closet.

This was a late booking via the Hilton app. We had just been to the Royal Opera House to see Swan Lake and we decided to stay in London. We were checked in by Andrews who was so welcoming. He really did make us feel special. Due to it being quite late we had drinks in the bar and were just in time to order a light snack of crab on sourdough toast. It was really good. Herman looked after us in the bar and he maintained the standard that Andrews had set. The room was comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good and staff were pleasant and helpful. I can see us staying here again.

Wonderful hotel, all the staff make you feel very welcome, especially Irena in guest relations. She was outstanding and super helpful. Loved staying there and can't wait to stay again. Rooms have everything you need and beds are comfy. Perfect location to walk everywhere - we even walked to Harrods from the hotel.

My husband and I have just been to London, and my husband wanted to surprise me with the Be Our Guest afternoon tea offered and this prestigious hotel. I have seen the experience a few months ago on social media and it always looked beautiful, however this was not the reality… The decor lacked the magic that this experience describes to offer… not everything was bad… the staff especially our server Olga was the sweetest and of course the harpist which plays some disney classics on her beautiful harp. At the time we went, a big table sat behind us took away all the “ magic “ once would expect… the children shouting, running around and worse off all touching the harp while it’s being played and their parents or staff members do not stop them. This experience should be held to a higher standard and not kids running around, shouting and screaming with no one to even stop them! It was a shame. The enchanted rose cocktail, was a let down!!! Just a classic glass, with the cocktail in… tastes good but, it doesn’t do any justice to the name… Food however was good, a vast variety of treats and savories. All in all, the experience was a let down, and I couldn’t wait to be ready and leave…. Again, thank you Olga for taking care of us, with the utmost respect and passion to give your patrons the full experience.

Dear claudi312, I am disappointed that you we failed to meet your Afternoon Tea expectations and have noted the areas that require our attention and shared them with the Food and Drink Leadership team. I am pleased however to read that Olga delivered great customer service during your visit. All diners, including younger ones should be well behaved so as not to impact our other guests experience and we will ensure this is more closely monitored in the future. We do hope you will still choose to visit us again when in London. Kind regards, Guy General Manager
