Nestled in a serene location that's perfect for scenic strolls, Mary Mount Hotel boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere that resonates with guests. The hotel's spotless rooms, praised for their comfort and views, provide a peaceful retreat, although a few guests note they can feel a bit dated. Called in for a cuppa on our bikes. The chap at the bar was really pleasant and took our order for two teas and a scone to share. However the waitress who brought it to us outside was really miserable and obviously wasn’t enjoying her job. The scone was dry and the cream ( pre packed was set solid) Such a shame!!

I have stayed here several times, it never ceases to please! The staff are so friendly, the food portions are huge, situated on Derwent Water, a 10 minute drive from Keswick. There are rooms and cottages to rent

My first time here and first time away for Christmas. The staff are exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. Christmas night dinner was spectacular. The crab salad was tasty and the beef Wellington was beyond perfect. And so much of it. The cheese was the best one I have ever had. The owners should be very proud of their staff, they are a credit to the hotel and to the hospitality industry. Thank you all for a special time. We stayed in the annex room 17 . Lovely room and just right for three old dears and 4 dogs. We will be back!

Beautiful hotel in a stunning perfect location. Staff were so friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant had beautiful stunning views of Catbells and the feeders around the hotel were amazing full of the most beautiful birds. The hotel was right next to a Jetty with a ferry running into Keswick every half hour. I would highly recommend this Hotel and cant wait to return.

Stayed here for two nights as a special treat. Fantastic location. The room we stayed in had great views towards Derwentwater. The room was clean but looked and felt somewhat dated. There was plenty of choice for breakfasts. The full English was spot on, well cooked good produce. The evening meals were top quality. Special mention for the sticky toffee pudding, out of this world. I would go back just for the pudding!

Our fourth visit to the Mary Mount and it was as great as ever. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and the food superb. The location is ideal for us. Can't wait to return.
