I received notification from Air Canada that my flight was canceled due to the weather. I was told I could not fly out till the next day. I had to cancel my trip as the days they provided me did not work with my schedule. Due to the fact that this was out of my control I spent 7 hours on the phone with my travel agent to receive a refund from Casa tamar in Kingston. The general manager at casa tamar Mr.Kevin Dunn refused to provide his name, guess he forgot he left his name with me. That alone shows how unprofessional he is. I had air Canada and my agent fighting for me to receive my refund for 7 hours for something out of my control, only to get told that there is nothing they can do for me. I did not cancel, air Canada canceled therefore they have no policy in place when its out of the clients control. I also had a horrible communication experience from the start with Kevin Dunn. very rude . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.…
My first visit to Jamaica was in July of 2016 for 6 days and I stayed at the Casa Tamar Guest home Apartments in the Barbican area.very clean quiet friendly and beautiful place. With lots of Historical sites restaurants markets local bar and casino all within walking distance. I recommend that everyone stays with the Casa Guest home family and Kevin such an awesome concierge.
Manager was on time, kind courteous, check in on guest, The place/environment is clean. Property well kept. Owner make sure the welcome tour and guide is done before the trip.i would recommend the casa brand to anyone.
