Plunging into the woods and from there, into the heart of the sea - a relaxing holiday in the Greek islands. Walking through the Koukounaries beach and parklands, 200 metres from the hotel, is a memorable experience. Some other beautiful beaches on the northern part of Skiathos Island, Greece, are the beaches of Mandraki and Elia’s, after which we have named this Skiathos luxury boutique hotel and restaurant.

Mandraki Village is a fabulous small and friendly boutique hotel, having everything you need. A lovely swimming pool with extremely comfortable loungers and nice gardens. They do a weekly BBQ with Greek dancers, great fun. Also had a singer on one night. We came on a BB booking as we like to eat out at the different restaurants. Fabulous cocktails! Served at the hotel bar. Our room was a ground floor room which was overlooking the gardens, comfortable clean and tidy. Good breakfast with plenty of choice from hot and cold continental, cakes, pastries, fruit etc, crepes cooked one day, teas and coffees. The staff here are some of the friendliest and helpful people I’ve come across in a hotel for a long time, special mention to Maria, Miranda and there are several others but sadly I didn’t make a note of their names.. Koukanaries beach a short walk either down the main road or through the scrub land, lovely sandy beach with beds and parasols €15 for two beds and shade. Great bus service, bus stop number 23 across the road from the hotel for getting into Skiathos town, journey took about 25mins. A couple of bars and tavernas along from the hotel, with a several more along the road. We ate at the Big Bad Wolf one evening, food was good and plentiful. Handy small supermarket also next door. A very enjoyable stay and hopefully return. We all had a lovely holiday in Skiathos and visiting Skopelos. Thank you Mandraki for making us feel so welcome.

It’s a lovely, very well curated hotel. The restaurant is very good, especially for the breakfast. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious and very nice. A very enjoyable stay. However, if you prefer the beach and swimming in the sea, be prepared to walk 30 minutes to a good beach because the one nearby is just a sea of overpriced sunbeds and crowds.

Booked through Booking.com around six weeks ago and paid in full 4 weeks prior to arrival. Despite this Booking.com only notified the hotel on the morning of arrival. This meant the hotel was fully booked. The manager and owner of the he hotel were amazing. We arrived late at night and they upgraded us to a family suite for the first two nights and then placed us in a nice apartment for the rest of our stay. We then had to encounter storm Daniel which meant our flight was cancelled. The management went out of their way to help all the guests and made sure we had accommodation for a further two nights until we could fly home I would like to thank the manager and owner for making sure we had a great stay at the hotel despite the problems caused by booking.com Many thanks from Antony and Val

We’re just coming to the end of our 10 night stay at Mandraki Village Hotel. It deserves the excellent reviews it gets. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, the pool area is peaceful with comfy beds with plenty of availability. Comfortable room that was cleaned every day and spacious terrace. The location is ideal near tavernas and beaches to walk to our get the regular bus to. Standout features were the very welcoming and friendly staff, you can tell they are a happy team together, the experience felt personal throughout. The food is also excellent and good value. We loved it here and will be back.

Lovely hotel although rooms are a bit small. Even though we stayed in august there was always lots of sunbeds free. The sunbeds are very good quality. The food is excellent and no mad rush even though the hotel was full. Staff will do anything for you nothing is too much trouble. We loved the Greek night and barbecue was excellent. A very short walk to the beach. Must mention Maria who was so helpful to us and friendly.

An absolutely amazing hotel! We (us + our 7yr old son) stayed here for 10 days. Nothing was too much trouble for Miranda and her staff - they made us feel incredibly welcome. The pool and surrounding grounds were very well kept and made it a pleasure to laze around the pool. The room (807) was very modern with huge walk in shower, comfy bed and plenty of storage for clothes. Breakfast was really varied and delicious. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic hotel , everything about the hotel was just lovely. Staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Very attentive and professional at all times . Requested a room on 2nd floor and this request was met. Room was spacious and modern, we stayed in room 805/ white block. The breakfast was excellent , very tasty and great range of food . It wasn't chaotic during this time . Coffee machine was easy to work and coffee was lovely. Best cocktails I tasted during our holiday. We went to the Greek night which was not expensive and well worth the money . Good fun and bbq was amazing . My husband and I loved the food in the hotel , a wide selection on the menus, again one of the best meals we had . We went to the beach everyday so never used the pool area, the pool looked lovely and there was plenty of beds . Thank you to everyone for a lovely holiday . Staff work very hard , keep up the great work !!! . We will definitely return for another stay.
