We stayed here for a long weekend tour of the Island. A great location as it’s less than 10 minutes from the Airport. We didn’t hear any planes nearby as it’s a fairly small quiet airport anyway. It has everything you need, plenty of parking, pool area, nicely kept garden/grounds and a well equipped Kitchen for cooking your meals. We were in a top floor apartment. The view was perfect and the area is so quiet. The main living area is nice and big and opens out onto a nice wide balcony with table and chairs. Lots of light in the room. We would definitely stay here again. When we arrived our room wasn’t quite ready. However they let us into the room so we could get changed into our shorts and T-shirt’s. We just left our cases in the wardrobe for later and headed out for the afternoon. When you find the apartments the driveway is very steep downhill. It feels like your going the wrong way. Just follow it down left and the car park is at the bottom.

Found these apartments by filtering by 4* or better on the Love Holidays website. Superb apartments, located a hilly twenty minutes walk from the the village of San Pedro, about the same distance from the nearest large supermarket and about a 15 minute drive from the island's capital, Santa Cruz. The apartments are situated in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens and have views from the balcony over the coast and from the front over the mountains. Although relatively basic, the apartments contain everything needed for a self-catering break. Our apartment had two very comfortable single beds, which were next to each other, and in the same room as an eating and sitting area. Importantly, the kitchenette was in a completely separate room, which meant that we did not have to sleep with the smells, and of course grease, of our cooking. The kitchen was well-enough equipped for us to cook our own meals from scratch every night, although it would have benefit ted from a microwave or oven. The apartment was completed by a well-designed shower room, which, unfortunately, only seemed to deliver hot water at night. Communication with Jens, the owner, was superb, before, during and after our holiday. One important note is that reception is only open from 9:00 until 14:00 on weekdays and Saturdays. If you plan to arrive outside these times contact Jens via the apartments' website to arrange for collection of keys. Would certainly put these apartments at the top of our list if we return to La palma.

I can say that our entire stay at Apartamentos Miranda was positive from arrival to check out. The initial contact and email communication before our stay was excellent and the map / directions proved invaluable in locating the apartments. Jens is very helpful and has some excellent knowledge of the local area. I would certainly to recommend speaking to him with regards to your plans if you are planning to see some of the sights and walk the many routes available. He has good in depth knowledge that a guide book wouldn't provide. The apartments are extremely clean as are the surrounding gardens and swimming pool area. They are located less than 10 minutes drive from Santa Cruz and are great as a base to explore the whole island, which certainly needs to be seen to be believed. The scenery is stunning. The views over the landscape are fabulous and can be enjoyed from both the front and rear balconies. The only downside is that restaurants aren't within walking distances so if everyone wants a drink a taxi would be needed. However, there is a BBQ area with an outdoor table and bench which are ideal for al fresco dining. The apartments also have a kitchen area with a stove so self catering is not a problem. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a visit to La Palma. The whole island is a real hidden gem and Apartamentos Miranda is a fabulous holiday home.

Quick break to escape the UK winter. The host Jens was great, helpful, and welcoming. Apart from the access down a steep incline, the accommodation was nice, could do with a microwave/Grill which would give more cooking options. The views are stunning, La Palma is beautiful, and I will definitely return.

We recently stayed here for a long weekend. It was a bit hard to find but that was good as it was off the road and quiet and had a lovely sea view. The driveway isn't for the faint hearted. The apartment is well appointed with a nice balcony, everything you need and there's a supermarket about 1km away for supplies. There's a good off road car park about 30metres from the building so your not disturbed by car noise. My only criticisms would be the lower rooms get the furniture scrapping noise from the rooms above and the laminate flooring could do with being replaced

We spent a week here, it's not a long drive from the airport. The apartment had everything we needed except for a small microwave oven, so we had to adapt our food choices slightly. The apartment was just about warm enough to cope without heating. While we were there the weather was better on most days on the other side of the island, so we took the short drive to find the sun. In warmer weather I would stay here to avoid the excessive heat. The pool area is clean and ideal for sunbathing and the gardens are beautiful. The views are very impressive from both sides of the apartments.

Still fabulous. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Wonderful views from all the rooms and well stocked to cook if you prefer to eat in. No restaurants within walking distance apart from perhaps the Parador but a big supermarket a 15 minute walk and Lidls just beyond! It was a cold winter and Jens gave us a fan heater to use. Jens and Ludmila very helpful and make you feel very welcome. A great place to stay for a relaxing holiday not too far away from facilities but far enough.

We have just come back from la Palma where we stayed at this apartments. It had everything we needed for a self catering holidays.. including hairdryer and towels. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The best thing was the view from the balcony, amazing. I would definately recommend to rent a car. There is a bus stop nearby but the frequency is mininal.

We stayed here a week, and it was blissfully peaceful. Our room was spacious and had all the equipment you require for self catering. The owner was helpful with advice, and helped us book a hire car. A supermarket is a very short drive away or would take about 15 mins to walk. The gardens and the surroundings are all well maintained. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

From the time we arrived to the time we left two weeks later Jens and his partner made our stay as perfect as it could be. If we had a problem (which were few) Jens would sort immediately. The gardens, apartment and views were great and well maintained. The nearest supermarket is a 15 minute walk but Jens delivers bread every morning and the gardener makes delicious goats cheese and his chickens lay wonderful 'wild eggs.' Next year would like to be in a top apartments. A lovely place to stay for a peaceful and homely place to stay away from tourism. Only small negative was that it would have been good to have more comfortable chairs in the lounge area.
