This hotel was a fabulous place to stay!! It was German hospitality at its best. Gorgeous food and very friendly and attentive staff 😍 nice spacious rooms that were beautifully decorated. Having toured around the Alsace area, we felt that this hotel was by far the best value. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!!

A great location to explore the Black Forest. Friendly host and staff. We were lucky we were having great weather and could have our dinners on the terrace. We’ve enjoyed our dinners and also the breakfast. Compliments to all of you. We’ll definitely recommend your hotel. And will return in the near future With kind regards ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We didn't stay there, we just went for dinner. Friendly and efficient service. Delicious local food. Nice wine list with wines from the area. Good value for money. They fully deserve the Michelin Bib Gourmand. They have their own parking.

We stood here one night on the way to Italy. The room was nice and reasonably priced. Enjoyed a good dinner with local specialties -including game. Also offering good local wines. Service is very friendly. Breakfast good as well.

We spent two nights in this nice hotel located in a calm village but due to rainy weather we had no chance to explore the close neighborhood of that place. We got a quite spacious hotel room with a comfortable double bed and a nicely equipped bathroom. But the crème de la crème we found at the restaurant! The contents of the menu was already quite appetizing, but when our ordered dishes arrived at the table it was a real “wow!”. And they not only looked stunning, but they were incredibly delicious! We did not expect to find such refined cuisine in small village, but later on we learned that many people had already discovered that secret and table reservation was truly necessary.

I spent two nights to this hotel during a business trip. It was a good hotel. There are 2 aspects that stop me to rate my review excellent: the Wi-Fi - it was quit hard for me to connect to it from my IPhone and the lack of A.C. You might thing is not necessary but I was there in the beginning of May and believe me, it was really hot. The breakfast was also OK. The staff is not speaking English very well, but beside this it was a pleasant stay. Definitely I would return.

Owner is personally cooking the food. Local receipes and delicious taste. Fois gras, wild rabbit, asparagus, steaks, whatever u take is a good choice. Clean, quick and kind service. Not far from Strasbourg and only 5 mins from the highway leading to Basel.

We stayed two nights here after not finding accommodation in Gegenbach. Location was close enough to walk (3kms) or drive into town. Hotel was very comfortable, staff very friendly, breakfast and dinner was good. Room very comfortable, spacious and suited us. Very reasonably priced.

This hotel is very comfortable clean and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The restaurant is excellent: great service and delicious food. The only 2 unpleasant features are the Internet connection, which is very slow and sometimes inexistent (unless you are in the reception area) and the fact that the only TV channels there is access to are all German speaking, although there is a notice saying there are other channels (in English and/or French)

We stayed here for 5 nights, each day traveling to a different part of the Black forest, never more than an hour's drive. The first afternoon there, we walked to the outskirts of town, less than a half mile, and had wonderful views of the area with benches strategically placed along the way. The service at the hotel was excellent from the reception to the cleaning staff. The hotel is pretty and modern. The breakfast was good. The location is quiet and peaceful. However, that might be my only complaint, Other than the hotel restaurant and one other hotel restaurant near by, there is nothing. One evening, after coming back from a long day of hiking, we were too tired to get in the car again and go to another town for dinner. so skipped the meal.
