Our family stayed here for 2 nights occupying 2 villas. There are only a handful of villas in this resort, making it very private, depending on which villa you are allocated to. My villa happened to be located on top of a slope with no neighbours around me so it was very private. My parents' villa however was sandwiched between other villas and anyone walking past can see their room and them soaking in the outdoor jauzzi.
That aside, the resort is very luxurious with very clean and modern facilities. Our villa came with complimentary beach sandals that you can bring home, luxurious Bvlgari toiletries, a basket of high quality bath amenties, bath sachets and a fully stocked mini bar with complimentary drinks (juices, teas, Perrier, isotonic drinks). There are also complimentary bath robes, hoodie and shorts sets and pyjamas for our use during our stay. Guests can also borrow their washing machine cum dryer if they wish to launder clothes on their own.
Our villa will be turned down twice a day - once when we are out for the day and once during dinner.
Breakfast is included in our stay as well as complimentary tea break snacks are offered in the afternoon. Breakfast varies from Western or Japanese daily and it is a fixed menu. Tea break items include sandwiches, ice cream, muffins, etc with tea, coffee or juices.
We had dinner in the resort on both nights - a fantastic French/Italian fusion menu that took us over 2 hours to savour the delicious meal.
Service overall is attentive and courteous.

We had a wonderful time staying in this hotel with super friendly staffs and highly professionally services. We happened to stay six nights in this resort with an extra night due to the typhoon but the hotel just charged a portion of the original cost for hat extra night as they know we can not go anywhere. The staffs served us free lunch and provided us refill of amenities under super windy condition and that really warmed us. We stayed at the villa suite with separate living and dinning room. Every morning the staffs would prepare our breakfast at the dinning room with different styles such as western and Japanese alternatively. This is a small luxury hotel with only 20 some rooms as I remembered. We happened to tried the Italian restaurant at that night of the typhoon and the food is up to the standard for a decent quality restaurant. The pool inside our villa is nice to have fun with the kids and the big hotel pool is good too. The location of the hotel is a bit remote and quite a drive from the downtown. However, it is quite near the famous aquarium. The ocean view is excellent but the beach down the cliff looks dirty from a distance, so we didn't bother to get to it. Overall, this is a luxury hotel come with a price, but other than the money, the service quality an hotel condition are excellent. Great for family and couple that want a quiet remote location.

The 19 room high-end hotel is exactly what you would expect and more. It was much like staying at an Aman hotel.
We had a nice ocean view room with our own jacuzzi. Hiramatsu, whose origin and forte is in the French restaurant business in Hiroo Tokyo, served up wonderful meals. We spent our first night having a course dinner in the restaurant. Each dish was carefully made and with some type of surprise, be it in presentation, preparation, ingredient, or spice, and with some dishes served in authentic Japanese serving ware juxtaposed with traditional French. The second night we ordered room service on our outdoor terrace watching the stars to the sound of waves, after a long jacuzzi.
They will cart you around the hotel premises and arrive at your villa exactly to the minute you request (punctual like a Shinkansen train).
(For wine lovers: Their wine list, while short, is eclectic and diverse comprised of high level wineries that are not of the highest level names, which is a good message about the extensive knowledge of the sommelier and therefore the selections are mostly rare wines. Most of their wines are imported directly as you will not see the importer names on the back label. You should also try an awamori which is a local Okinawan rice-based distilled spirit. 15+ year aged are as smooth and glycerol as outstanding aged whiskies/brandies)
Could keep writing about the relaxing experience, hotel & hotel grounds and service. But you really should go there to experience it for yourselves. Truly a top level hotel. You will want to spend much of the day at the hotel, pool, spa, and private beach rather than touring about.
In short it was the best hotel in Japan to date! And again on the same level with Aman.

We spent three nights at hiramatsu and we would give the place high marks. If you stay with hiramatsu you are expecting fine french meals and they certainly deliver that. The only drawback would be is perhaps more than three nights in a row for wonderful six course dinners would have been a bit much. We stayed in on of the pool villas (501) which was very secluded with a wonderful view and great feel. I would definitely recommend one of the cliff front villas over the rooms in the main building. I would think the first floor rooms lack much privacy. the one problem with the location is the beach in front of the hotel while nice to look at is not swim friendly. if you compare to the beaches on the other side of the island the water is not as clean and inviting. On the other hand, the beach is totally empty lending itself to long walks and beachcombing.

Each HIRAMATSU location has its own unique character, and I was really looking forward to visiting Ginoza. First, we were greeted when we arrived at the driveway. This is the place where you wait for the cart while enjoying the view. It's a place where you can imagine your HIRAMATSU resort life starting as you look out over the ocean on the east coast of Okinawa. It's a very stylish arrangement. The cart came to pick us up and took us to the reception building where we checked in. This is also on a hill overlooking the ocean. It's a really wonderful place. The wind was strong during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the pool or jacuzzi, but the view from our room was of the ocean all to ourselves. It's a great location. The food at every HIRAMATSU was excellent. It was delicious and enjoyable. The villa garden room by the ocean is great!

This time, I returned to Narita from overseas and headed to Okinawa immediately, so the content may be biased, but I will write about what I noticed. (I didn't have time to fill out the review form that was on the table in the room...)
This time, I stayed in a villa on the second floor at the southern end for three nights. The sea can be seen from the balcony, and although there is not much difference in elevation, it is still beautiful. You can hear the sound of the waves well. The beach is not cleaned, so there is a lot of trash, but it didn't bother me. I don't know if you can swim in spring, summer, or autumn.
There are no particular complaints about the hardware, including the room and the jacuzzi on the balcony, and it is well designed and well maintained. The bed is one step higher and has a good view. The jacuzzi was warm and comfortable even in the middle of the night in winter. Beach sandals are also provided in the room. The temperature of the heating in the room can be freely adjusted, so I never felt cold.
However, some people may say that it is better to have a lock on the toilet.
After staying for several nights, I wanted to have a Japanese meal or something light in between. This time, I used room service on the second night, but the Okinawan food did not suit my taste, which was a problem. If the menu had a little more explanation of the dishes, I would have been better off not making the wrong choice. I would have preferred a menu with just rice, miso soup, and pickles.
The French course I ordered on the first night was delicious considering the price, but I wasn't particularly impressed. The wine matching was also average. The Japanese breakfast on the second night was also average.
The contents of the minibar were disappointing. Although it was all free, the Orion beer was not something I particularly wanted to drink. I wonder how it would be if they mixed it with other beers or highballs.
Orion beer may be a good choice for guests who are visiting Okinawa to enjoy the best of Okinawa, but for guests who want to stay at a good beach resort in Japan, you should choose purely on the taste.
Everyone was kind and friendly in terms of customer service and service. There were many guests, so I had no complaints.
I rented a car from Naha Airport, but I think valet parking should be available only to those who request it. There are probably some guests who are jet-lagged and hungry in the middle of the night and want to go to a convenience store. It would be a different story if the hotel had another reason for wanting to have the key.
