Luxury Resort located near Yercaud lake in Salem District, situated 4,700 feet above sea level in the Shervarayan Hills of Tamil Nadu is Yercaud , a quiet hill station with untouched natural beauty. Lakes, plantations, estates, English bungalows, walk ways and trek zones etc… INDeco NATURE RESORT Yercaud is set in the Eastlynne Farm Estate, a live coffee plantation on the banks of the Yercaud Lake, created by Ms.Henrietta Charlotte Rosario during the 1800s. The hotel has evolved around ‘Rosar’. Once called AVIEMORE, ‘The Rosar’ has been carefully restored to its original glory and is a reflection of the pride of the past centuries. Most of the rooms have been raised on the ruins in the estate, maintaining the regal Anglo-Indian style of Architecture of the late 1800’s. Converted into a heritage hotel, hospitality and indulgences co-exist here with lake views and the forest. Importantly, accommodations have been created only where nature has permitted such developments, within the ecological niche of the place using all traditional practices to protect the land, its heritage and ecology. This continues to be a signature project for reuse & recycling practices. The Fortune Magazine awarded the concept as the sixth of the top 10 ideas to green the world. Not an ounce of fresh wood has been acquired from the forests; other sources have been utilized for the creation of the INDeco Resort Yercaud. Condemned wood and wooden structures from palatial buildings in whatever form, are continuously collected, restored and re-used. The joy of saving condemned wood & living trees is far more than saving huge sums of money. This cannot in any way be construed as an act of cost controlling or saving because in most cases it ends up in phenomenal cost escalation. ONE OF THE FIRST PET FRIENDLY PLACES IN YERCAUD!
Stayed in Indeco for 2 days and experience generally has been positive. The resort's location is great within 500m of the lake and 1km from the boat house in central Yercaud. Its antique feel and amazing natural scenery inside is very good. Rooms are in the style of old king's palace. The decor looks amazing in pictures and every spot within the resort is picturesque. However room amenities are just basics. Comfort of bedding used or upkeep of ornaments and decor used or maintenance of bathroom and quality of toiletries provided wasn't up to the mark for a three star hotel which Google says it is. The breakfast spread is good and the taste is great. The same cannot be said about the lunch or dinner menu which is barely ok. When we ate, half the items weren't available from the menu, and the taste was average. Their idea of garlic bread is toasted white bread (of sandwich type) with garlic cloves in between! Wood fired pizza in the evening was okay in taste but priced expensive for Rs 350+ on average for personal pan size pizza. Lia Spa is ok but expensive in my view (2400+GST for standard 45min massage), though I didn't compare nearby prices so cannot say much. The Resort's staff and service was good. Housekeeping was prompt and security was helpful in managing parking. Attendants were courteous and polite. Whatever can be drawbacks of the rooms are made up in the ambience. One can spend 2 hours just inside the resort walking, playing and taking pictures. For 6000/- per room night (August end), this wasn't a bad deal.…

It's very near to yercaud lake which is the center point of the town yet very calm and peaceful. 3 minutes walk to boat house and Children's park. Rooms are spacious and we feel like we live in the middle of a forest. Staffs are quite courteous and polite. Economy rooms starts around 4.5K + 12% GST during peak seasons.. The only draw back is mobile signal is not good inside rooms and WIFI signal is like that of 2G one.. However, that is negligible as mobile network across yercaud town itself is not quite stable.. Breakfast is very good and have nice spread.. Their wood Fired pizza I the evening is a top notch

This is a heritage property, set amidst coffee plantation and forest a landscape. Everything about this property screams rustic, right from the color of the walls to the fittings which seems to be a double-edged sword if not maintained well. We staid for a couple of nights in the Estate Suite during Christmas weekend. The climate did not disappoint, but the property did. It was extremely cold and damp inside the room despite it being locked the whole day. Lack of heater inside the room made it even worse and we were not able to get one even after repeated request since it was a packed weekend and all the available heaters were handed to the "elderly". Breakfast spread was simple and nothing to brag about. Location was a saving grace since it was in close proximity to all major tourist attractions like Sky Park, Peeku Park, Lake etc., Google maps take you to the side entrance with very little parking space. One needs to go further to enter through the main gate. Parking can turn out to be a headache during peak season. IMO, wasn't worth the money spent.…

planned a trip to Yercaud for 2 days wherein when I did a search for a good resort for a stay with my family, luckily I got the rooms in Indeco lake orest. The whole property is inside the thick trees and you will feel like you are inside the forest. This resort is very close to main attractions of Yercaud. Very easy to reach the property and the rooms are really amazing. Food taste is just awesome and hospitality from check-in to check-out are really fantastic. I loved my stay here with family. This property has camp fire with big screen display with movies or cricket match depends on the period you stay. Overall its a memorable stay with Indeco Lake forest resort. Don't miss it when you planned for a trip to Yercaud!!!

wonderful place!!! i had booked 3 nights 4 days estate suite aug26-29 2023, overall ambience was wonderful. the room looks more rustic classic pre independence British style with even the switches old style black ones. great food, esp breakfast idle/dosa/vada were upto to the standards expected of Salem area. also dont forget to try out the wood fire pizza in the evening and they are great too. the manager Sashi was very courteous and helpful. Seeralan the restaurant manager was also at his best when it comes to customer service. Location wise its bang on the Yercaud lake area (you can easily walk to the lake) and poppy hills fun park. equally easily go to peeku park/sky park towards pagoda point very easily (~ 10 mins drive). Overall i would say that this was a very memorable stay and i would like to come back once more.…

This resort was too expensive for the kind of rooms we got. The property is beautiful, and the food was tasty. The buffet spread was ok. But the room quality wasn't good. The towels were dirty, bathroom was just a basic style one and was small. All the view points were near to this hotel like in the radius of 3-4 km.
