Not sure where you fly from the US believe most people fly LA to Nadi.

The resort fee is actually the meal plan

Currently the charge is $105fjd this covers three meals use of snorkelling equipment kayak and free wifi plus other free activities.

The only other additional cost is your accommodation and any paid activities you wish to participate in

You would fly into the main Fiji airport. Nadi airport.

Then catch the Yasawa flyer (cheapest option unless you want to pay for a seaplane) which is a large catamaran that runs up and down the Yasawa island chain everyday. It leaves the Denarau Marina (short trip to the Marina by transfer or taxi from the airport) every morning at 8.30am.

The Yasawa flyer drops people off/picks them up from many resorts up and down the Yasawa chain. Look up - Awesome adventures website, that is the company that runs the Yasawa Flyer.

It drops people off at Drawaqa Island (Barefoot Manta resort) at 11 am from the south. When you have finished your stay you would catch the Yasawa Flyer again (on its way down south ). The flyer collects travellers at 3.45pm and drops them back at the Marina around 5.45pm.

Sorry I cannot tell you what the resort cost would be, just have a look at the Barefoot Manta website you can punch in any currency and it will give you the prices. Just remember there is a meal package as well that adds to the cost. per person.

Contact them maybe? via their website. Lovely people to deal with and I'm sure they'd give you the full cost of however long you wish to stay at Barefoot Manta.

If you are looking for a 'chilled' non fuss, relaxing holiday-this is the place. No pool, no fancy spa, no huge noisy crowds. Just a wonderful place in the world to take some time to really rest and enjoy some Fijian hospitality.

If you are keen 'water' people than this is a great spot too. Look up my trip advisor experience.
