- Lisa RGrafton, WI48 contributionsWe stopped to see the World's Largest Buffalo that we saw from I94. Bonus - we did not know about the Frontier Village. We dedcided to check it out and we are glad we did. There were a lot of neat little shops and you could read about the historical displays. Admission is FREE (there is a box for donations). We did not go into the National Buffalo Museum (admission required). We did speak with a lady who was in the Visitor Information Center. She was very friendly & gave us some info about Medora and Theodore Rooseveldt National Park. We spent about 45 minutes taking pictures and walking around. It was nice to get out of the car for a while before we drove to our hotel in Dickinson. Worth the stop.Written October 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TXMARTINSAtlanta, GA3,461 contributionsYou can explore the grounds and shops without a ticket! We saved our money for a horse ride which the kids enjoyed much more than the museum:) Fun to step back into a mockup of an old city and show the kids a small piece of how it once was.Written December 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - vtsisterMadison, SD2 contributionsSteve was a fantastic guide. It is a true gem of a building. Hearing the history of how close it came to being destroyed was hard to take in. I am a former court stenographer and county clerk. I love to tour courthouses across the country as we travel. This was among the best we have seen.Written August 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brandon KFlagstaff, AZ1,953 contributionsWe checked this place out with our kids while in town to visit grandparents. This little museum was closed last time we were here, but this time was open. It is an old house filled up with various types of historical artifacts put into every corner possible, from the basement to the third floor bedrooms. First, it really is a neat old house and you can just appreciate that to start. Then you can dig into the rooms and rooms and rooms of items. The basement was the most interesting to me with tools, medical equipment, sports items, and even a post office setup. They let you walk through freely and you can do an audio tour if you wish. I think we were the only ones in the place during our time and we could take as long as we wanted in each room.Written June 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigMerkGlasgow, UK2,303 contributionsWe were admiring the basilica from the outside and were surprised to find that the door was actually open during the day. There were a few people inside doing private prayer, so we had a good look around. Inside and outside this us a stunning basilicaWritten October 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Brandon KFlagstaff, AZ1,953 contributionsWe were at one of the arts events in the square across the street, and I wandered in. Nice little gallery. There was an interesting show up and the amount of art fit the space well. It was "unmanned" while I was there, but that was likely since the staff was running the event in the square.Written July 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tammy B8 contributionsThe site is a reenactment of an old west town with a stage coach ride and lots of artifacts in the buildings. One building is for Loius L'amore. - JinAbrAberdeen, SD398 contributionsWe had a break while at a conference and wanted a bit of fresh air and nature. The reservoir is well kept & clean, with nice path for biking, walking, running. An island with disc golf course was a relaxing place to go for an afternoon walk. A gift to this area.Written April 29, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Rob Chaffart17 contributionsThe First Assembly of God is completely beige.
It has a lot of parking places.
I like the tall trees near the church.
The members of this church like their pastor, as he is very friendly.
