- Naim AManchester, UK3 contributionsAmazing experience for shopping, most of the major boutiques have their outlets and the shopping area is very modern but with traditional touches to itWritten January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SalemsauKuwait3 contributionsOne of the oldest markets in Kuwait. One of the best places where I found fresh meat. For more than six years, I have only bought meat from Mubarakiya. There is also a perfume and incense market and evening gatherings.Written February 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoeTee79Fayetteville, NC80 contributionsI love going to this mall, parking is outside and convenient. The grocery store is located in the basement, stores and on the ground and second floor, the foodcourt which is small but clean, green, prices are great as well. I love this mall very similar to the newer mall in Fahaheel called Al Kout Mall which I also love to stroll and eat.Written November 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is led primarily by Mrs. Lidia Al Qattan, the woman who created the mirror house. She is assisted by her adult daughter during the first half of the tour.
The tour takes a little over two hours. The first half is primarily on the first floor where all of the mirror art is located. The second half focuses on art by Mrs. Al Qattan and her late husband which is located on the second floor. I preferred the first floor portion but the second floor was also enjoyable as Mrs. Al Qattan is very entertaining and interesting.

- LolaGo1Washington DC, DC6,468 contributionsWe briefly stopped here to visit the Marina where boats are docked. Also visited is the Corniche or the walk along the Arabian Gulf.
Did a short visit of the Fish Market, noting the huge, fresh fish and other seafoods for sale there. Vendors here were friendly and did not mind my taking pictures of their stuffs for sale.
No problem finding parking space here. Portable roofs cover these parking spaces.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located in Salmiya area, 10-15 minutes drive from Kuwait City. Struggled hard to find a parking, and struggled more harder to find our car. Simply a number 5 to the long row of parking area, and if you are visiting Kuwait for the first time like me, definitely it will be hard to find the car. Anyway, the mall is nice, viral, many brands like Zara, a lot of restaurants, cafes and ice cream stalls.
I visited Hallab and tried their Arabic ice cream.Written April 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The first structures, coming from the north, were very much in traditional exterior forms such as the Souq Sharq, the Fish Market, the Grand Mosque, the Seif Palace. Further on they became more modern, although still with an Arabic Islamic influence, such as the National Assembly by Jörn Utzon or then the Sheikh Jabed Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre.
Again I only had the chance to admire the structure, inaugurated in 2016, from the outside. In fact, there were four differently shaped structures close to each other like pieces of precious stones with a very decorative geometrical design pattern. The exterior was all shiny thanks to titanium panels that were covering the concrete, steel and glass interior.
The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, honouring the Emir. who ruled from 1977 to 2006, is dedicated mainly to the performing arts, while the other Cultural Centre in town, named after Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salam, is more of a Museum for the Sciences.Written December 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
