- William CPerth, Australia2 contributionsBeautiful views, great historical site, well worth a visit. The owner has developed a nice cinema too with a very interesting historical video which lasts 10 min and is greatWritten January 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - andreawCLT8 contributionsMy husband and I booked the private walking tour at Kingdom Falconry. The weather was very cold and very windy that morning. Our guide, Niamh, brought out Clive, the handsome Harris Hawk for us to work with. He wasn't thrilled with the wind gusts and cold haha. We cut our walk short, but we were able to meet Buzz the barn owl and hold him. Niamh took us into one of the aviaries where we got to meet more of the birds, which was fun. I love birds of prey, so getting close to so many of them and learning about them was a treat. Even though our excursion did not go according to plan, it was a fun time.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lara SHershey, PA119 contributionsWe loved our distillery tour! The guide was friendly and informative. We enjoyed learning about the distillery process and the history. We especially loved the tastings, Dingle gin is our new favorite!Written December 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bmcc5713 contributionsAbsolutely stunning aquarium, set in Dingle, very friendly atmosphere, ample parking across the road.
From butterflies to different kinds of fish to Otters to penguins to sharks to an adorable turtle called Molly, a highly enjoyable visit from a solo traveller to a family packed adventure.Written November 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walk up to the tower looked hard, and I almost changed my mind, but the lady taking the money (I think the owner) jokingly encouraged me. SO glad we did it! Lots and lots and lots of sheep poop. I thought I avoided it, but had it all over the bottoms of my shoes by the time we got back down. The woman had a hose and brush to clean our shoes. She even filled our water bottles for us.Written October 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lois AFredericksburg, VA186 contributionsWent with group of four around the entire island of Ireland, and this was one guy's favorite thing we did. Absolutely beautiful beach. - Sharon GBay Village, OH23 contributionsVisiting this old church ruin was one of the highlights of my trip to Dingle - and a visit we only made at the last minute. While visiting the gallery’s oratory we decided to walk over to Kilmalkedar (we were walking the Dingle Way so doing everything on foot) - about 2 miles away. Incredible old items - stone pillar, sundial and cross from around 500 CE even though the church ruins themselves are from much later - around 1100’s CE. Not crowded at all - felt like standing in sacred ground where pilgrims for 1500+ years have experienced divine moments. So grateful we went!Written September 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Elsa C. L.New York City, NY2,346 contributionsMr. Gerry’s drive after Inch Beach through the Dingle Peninsula was expertly done with a brief stop at Aghadoe, a picture spot! It was nice to take a short walk and take in the view. There were horses galloping.
The rest of the drive was so pleasant. My phone was flat against the bus’ window and there was no glare😃!Written June 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AM-PMIndianapolis, IN64 contributionsInteresting enough to see; recommend seeing at least one beehive hut area while in Ireland. Just be aware that it costs a few Euro/person (I must have missed that when planning our trip).Written July 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jim WSindelfingen, Germany2,930 contributionsSt Mary's of Dingle will never compare to some of the most amazing cathedral or churches in Ireland or across Europe. However, it is beautiful in its simplicity. Any house of worship is worth visiting in my humble opinion. I love the sign explaining where the church is in relation to Dick Mack's. It is worth a laugh as the locals will state the same when asking for directions.Written October 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
