What travelers are saying
- machinmadYaxley, UK2,508 contributionsThis dirt track carves it’s way up the eastern side of the mountains on the lake. It’s a shared track between walkers and cyclists. Be warned some cyclists tear up and down and don’t let pedestrians get in their way.
The track climbs steadily from Riva, never steeply, but a steady ascent. Their are info boards along the way which provide historical context. No facilities, other than a cafe after about an hour’s walking.
Unfortunately this track does not yet connect with the cycle route coming from Limone, but when it does, this whole route will be a fab way to see the northern end of the beautiful lake Garda.Written October 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Would have happily paid the 8euro if needed.Written September 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Path from the Bastione is still very rugged, wear some sturdy shoes. It is not an easy walk but well worth it when you get to the top, spectacular views. I left at 6.15am and at 7.00 it was 25 degrees at the top, bring plenty of water. For anyone who is reasonably fit this should be a must do.Written August 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stig JohanssonLund, Sweden80 contributionsIt's like a beach park with grass and rocks. The water is pretty cold but refreshing. The surrounding mountains is magic.Written July 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Raquelle N88London, UK7 contributionsOnly €6 for a standard adult ticket and you sure get a lot for your money. Each floor of the museum is dedicated to it's own subject such as local art, archeology and history. Views from the tower at the top were superb. Lovely and helpful staff. We got to see Luigi Pizzini's work as it was being exhibited during our visit. Highly recommended.Written September 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LedjutladKing's Lynn, United Kingdom56 contributionsBeing in Riva for a break I decided to visit this great piece of architecture, sadly the only English speaking tour was late Friday and couldn’t make it as I had an early flight next morning.
Luckily I had a tour three years earlier and can confirm it is well worth it!
Will definitely visit next time .Written September 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. An absolutely stunning church with renaissance art work and sculptured features covering all corners of this church. Definitely worth the visit, truly grasping the 17th century feel from this church with it's historical scenes wonderfully decorated to form this beautiful church.Written November 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
