Been driving past this place for years and always meant to call in. Today was the day we did. What an amazing place, we were totally in awe of how much info in the displays was given. These people are really passionate about the animals they look after and also animals that are endangered in other countries. We watched every display and it was well worth it. The last display to music was awesome, so many birds all flying together.

This is a fantastic place to visit. The house was very interesting and the staff were so friendly and keen to share their knowledge. Food in the tearoom was excellent.

A small heritage centre set in a beautiful little garden. The main focus is on the amazing tapestry of the town that was created by thousands of people for the millennium. Many thanks to Caroline for explaining the process involved. We loved the May Queen display too. A lovely lace to visit

Although we only live 15 ml away this was our first visit to a ,lived in' historic home. Pleased that our sat nav was quite accurate but once in the grounds signage to the car park was poor. Fantastic that HHA members get this opportunity to view these wonderful old houses. This was Tudor built in 1585 for the Mainwaring (Mannering) family.
A 80 min guided tour took us round lots of rooms (e.g. State and Russian Bedrooms and the Long Gallery) and halls which were obviously still lived in by the Brooks family the current owners.
The two guides were quite knowledgeable about the family history and pointed out numerous artefacts (sorry no photos allowed inside).
However there was slightly too much emphasis on the paintings which although important were not our cup of tea.
Afterwards we were able to visit the Carolean Stables but not the church as it closed just as we got there at 4pm.
All in all a nice pleasant afternoon which we could have followed with refreshments had we wished.

Brilliant day out for the rugby kids at Battlefield Live.
The games were really well organised and the kids had an absolute ball. The adults who took part loved it too!

Wonderful church and the vicar, Bernard was a joy - full of humour but also meaningful messages at the wedding service
All the church wardens worked so hard to make the wedding a success

We had lunch in the Club House Restaurant and although it was a light lunch at a busy period the service was excellent and in particular the duty supervisor Nicola made every effort to ensure we were served in good time to attend a business meeting we had later in the afternoons.

For me, the art you exhibit and hang in your home or workspace should benefit and enhance your journey in life. What you see every day affects your mood and emotions. The expression written in multiple languages ā€œA picture paints a thousand words,ā€ conveys how a single image can generate complex and multiple ideas that can help you celebrate your personal or professional life to its fullest. Vermilion Gallery presents a buffet of artistic expression to cater to all your design/decorating needs.
