Life guards very vigilant - tournament on when we were there which was very entertaining and showed how fit the lifeguards are

This pool would be okay on a calm day, which today was not. The swell was significant which swamped the pool and surrounds. There are plenty of park benches for seating as well as public toilets and change room above, next to the carpark.

Located on the south eastern edge of the precinct is the Herron Pedal Park. An area for children leaning to ride their bicycles while also learning some of the road rules. A nice, safe, environment for all involved.

This cycle track goes around and through parts of Herron Park. Much of the precinct has been upgraded into a very nice sporting complex. It’s safe and well signposted in the various areas.

We enjoyed visiting the Leisure Centre. There aren't any slides or waterfall games but it was fun and lots of pools. Indoor swimming lane pool does not have a very deep end.

It may have started off as a geek culture prank, but it has certainly elevated its status as an attraction on Maroulba Beach. It is a shame however that the local council, or whoever is responsible for the beach environment has not seen fit to maintain its upkeep. Beginning now to look as if it is slowly depreciating once again simply becoming the original concrete block.

Located to the south of Maroubra promenade, this large open park is rather well situated with the beach just to the east. There is the Maroubra skate park at the northern edge, plenty of seating and picnic areas and a few BBQ facilities. Just a short stroll to the shops or the water.

Quarry Reserve is near the high point of the south eastern suburbs but blocked from views of the city or sea and the playground (if that's what this entry wants to refer to) is very small and only good as a local stop for very young kids. Otherwise, it's a nice local park with old trees, rock terraces, and lawns stretching for a ways (marred by signs everywhere notifying of pesticides).

Great service every time you visit. All the therapists are experienced, professional and nurturing. Their approach is tailored to your needs and not just a standard massage. Very, very good!
