A very nice visit for anyone who is curious about ancient Egypt and/or science.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's easy to walk to from the town centre and usually we are there for around 30/45 minutes, talking about diffferent exhibits. It's free to enter unless there is a specific exhibition or a showing there, but on those occasion it would only be a few euros to enter. It is on 3 levels so we use the stairs. There must be a lift, but we have never noticed.Written October 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel MPlymouth25 contributionsBeautiful town with medieval areas. The market was busy, lots of fresh produce, there were stalls outside selling clothes, jewellery and other things.Written August 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard PShawnigan Lake, Canada126 contributionsI was walking the Camino de Santiago and was rushing to get here before 6 PM as I was sure the Tourist Office would close then. I was also walking without a cell phone so depended on others to call for me if that was necessary. I made it to the office just as the door was being locked, but the kind, smiling woman unlocked it and invited me in.
Well, what can I say - other than for the next 45 minutes she called everyone on her list who has or might have a key to the pelerins gite but as this was the first day of the school break there was no one available.
She then called a nearby hotel and explained my predicament. The hotel gave me a special deal on a room and meals.
Thank you. I'm sorry I have forgotten your name - you deserve a medal.Written November 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - northants90Northampton, UK2,956 contributionsStunning church which was unavoidable as we passed through to Cognac. Impressive design. A real presence on the landscape and a treasure of a church. Well worth stopping off to look at and see properly.Written September 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
