What travelers are saying
- lina m2 contributionsWe were recommended this place and its lovely, there is also a small bar with the most amazing mojitos , there is no sand and the rocks are a little tricky to get into the water , but they also have steps to get in as well, a must to go and see when in TenerifeWritten June 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tinkerbell216London, UK385 contributionsWe are staying at the Bacolo hotel and the reserve is just across the road. We had a wonderful tour with the fabulous Jose yesterday. Great walk, history, and really great placeWritten March 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GRZChicago, IL10,092 contributionsWOW! I thought this will be just a vista point stop but this is actually a big restaurant built into the side of the cliff/mountain - what an excellent location!!! I wish I had a chance to visit it when the place was still in business - the potential, the ambiance I can only imagine how amazing this could have been!
There is parking around the curve by the restaurant and the barriers weren't closed on either side so we parked what technically appears to be a restaurant's parking spots - which are also very limited so I struggle to imagine how people parked here in busy times when the place was open. We visited on a nasty weather day en route to Teide (which then had absolutely stunning weather... altitude did the trick) but the place was still stunning - there is a pretty cool upper area where there is a big cross and a 360 views for the heart and soul :)
TIP: dont come here just for the stop, make it part of your route to Teide as all of the locals told us that the route to Teide arriving from the south is more scenic (it is definitely different than the one from the northwest, both are great but it's the order of going from the south is what I would also recommend due to going down on the way back which is a super fast and easy route with open views) - it's a perfect ingredient for a Teide road trip day!Written July 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Delicious homemade bread, fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs. Very tasty cheeses, I recommend.Written October 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CCFCCardiff, UK53 contributionsTalking about the golf courseā¦.
It was not the in the best condition for some reason but ok generally. Greens had a bit of wild grass but ok.
Worth ā¬92 though.Written February 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Par 3's over the rocks look great but very straight forward for 12 handicapper.
Unable to use locker room to change shoes etc.
Strokesaver book particularly unhelpful. We won't be going back.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Greens worn in places but don't let that detract from a great course with some superb holes. White sand in bunkers is an improvement and the staff and marshals were as helpful as ever but rounds generally on slower side.
We love Golf del Sur and hopefully we'll be back next year.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
