I went to the ArtsQuest Cafe to see Mr. Phzzz/The Melvins/Boris. Everything about the experience was good, from the 1/2 pound hamburger (really) to the seating, the acoustics, even the cleanliness of the bathrooms. As soon as the venue has another act/tour I want to see, I'll be back.

The town of Bethlehem has made good use of an old factory and converted it into a really nice place for local artists.

The lay-out is like a school containing rooms and corridors with lots of art on the walls and pretty Murals along the walls. There are studios where artists were busy creating glass blown artwork. Shelves outside the studio displayed a lot of those beautiful creations and finished products. It was relaxing watching the glass blowing. Also loved the tiled mosaics on the outside walls at the entrance.

The place was deserted because of the holidays. We were the only ones there – other than the artists, so we did not feel rushed. But we would certainly love to return for an art show when everything is opened up again.

The parking is ample and admission is free.

If you love a variety of arts, this would be a cool place to spend an afternoon.

The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel tour was a must, Market was just an arts and crafts and not a true German market, but give Bethlehem thumbs up for Arts Quest, market and reinventing the area. Hotel Bethlehem is stunning at night. Parking meters need to be addressed, no smart phone, no parking, says to call which send you back to download app, takes forever. Nice day trip! So much history.

Here's a treat for the art collector as well as the casual 'let's get something for that wall'.
Ms. Evans has a fine display of her art in a large gallery on the 2nd floor of her grand home. She works in the mediums of water colors as well as oils, and excels at both.
We have collected 8 of her works, and would have more if we had the wall space. Well, maybe we could have another one over there!
    Heartily recommended!!!

..unless you are looking for something in particular (Lenox, UA, Famous Footwear, Wilsons Leather) Very close to Lehigh U - maybe a good side trip. Attached to Sands Casino & Hotel. Food court with ample choices but seemed pricey; located right outside casino. Decent parking. Covered the entire "mall" in less than an hour

Mall is very convenient right off the main road and good to have stores so close to get essential items at.

It’s a cute store with lots of history and a decent selection of books and cute ornaments. If walking in the historic district, I’d check it out.

Excellent source for great flavored olive oils an balsamic vinegars. We love coming here and then dining in one of the local restaurants. The oils and vinegars are not for every day use like EVOO. Use as a special extra flavoring on salads and those special meals. We love the Meyer lemon, Garlic and Tuscan infused oils. They are a bit pricey, but once you try them you realize the price was worth it.

Give them a try…I highly recommend.

When I come to visit family this is a must. Great selection but I have my favorites! Peanut rolled eggs are nothing like you have ever tasted before. Everything is fantastic. I just love it and I know you will too!

This is a nice little stop in downtown Bethlehem, it fits right in with the little gift stores and restaurants in the area. It gives you some ideas for decorating your house, and they always have some very nice local artwork displayed. They rotate their exhibits a couple times a year.

Where ever we travel my wife drags me to knit shoppes. That’s why I’m the purse bearer. Me, the buyer, appreciated the variety of price points on the yarn. Everything from mixed acrylics to local dyers. Meg, one of the workers, was a great help. They had two classes going on and even were more than willing to direct me to a local ice cream shop to appraise the purse bearer mentioned above.
