We've been there twice. We love it! We have always found something from this place. It is big. Expected to browse about 3 hours. Give yourself time. It is a big place and they have tons of booths. So many different venders with good quality stuff. We would go back when we are in the area.

Our first experience at this beautiful venue. Came for a concert by Don Mclean. The acoustics, seating are first rate. While in the lobby, my partner & I were approached by the House Manager, who after learning it was our first visit, gave us a brief tour, which gave us an appreciation for the thought that went into its design.

If you are into Civil War history, there is a part of the cemetery that has Union Soldier graves as well as an area with mass graves of soldiers who could not be identified. It is one of the smaller area Florence National Cemeteries.

Visiting the museum was the best part of my trip. I loved the exhibits and the size of the museum, which was not overwhelming. One of my favorite exhibits was the Civil Rights exhibit and the interactive Timeline Board. There was an exhibit on weaving and you were provided with a miniature weaving board. Nice take-home activities for children. I happened to come across this museum while taking a walk from the Hyatt Place Hotel. The museum was right around the corner from the hotel. I would highly recommend visiting this museum.

I love this library. Free dvd rentals, books, books, and more books, classes, children's area, free movies and so much more. The only thing I wish is that they had more tables near outlets.

This lovely park is a moving dedication to all those who have served in wars from World War I to the present day. It is also a nice walk from many of the hotels in the area.

This museum is a two story wooden house operated by two men. Admission is $2.00, paid admission & gave a a $3.00 donation. This is not your average museum. There is nothing new. In glass cases are bullets, weapons-swords, carbines, rifles, muskets & pistols- confederate paper money, cannon balls, assorted Indian artifacts and much more. The walls are covered with prints, paintings, photographs & drawing.

The walls also have 5 x 8 photos or smaller that could be south or north. Couldn't see any type of organization of exhibits. Any item that could be related to the civil war is displayed.

Museum is open only on Wednesday & Saturday, 10:00 to 5:00. Street parking only, one hour is posted. The second floor was HOT could only spent about eight minutes. During the summer/fall months the best time for a visit would be on a cool & cloudy day. Am should the second floor's exhibits would be worth a visit, just on my visit. Both men were well knowledgeable of the civil war, while one man took the time to look up information about Gen Robert E. Lee's horse Traveler.

A visit is recommended. Didn't get either man''s name. I would stop again in the future, only on a cooler day.

My wife and I felt this was worth a stop on our travels around Florence. One of the owners of the little distillery gave us a tour of their small facilities and how everything worked. He was very knowledgeable about his trade. Sampling was free. We sampled about eight different moonshine of different flavors. Love the lemon drop moonshine.

We tend to stop by Thieve's Market whenever we're in Florence. It's not the fanciest place, the there are lots of interesting and eclectic items and some bargains. We always come away with a few books for a dollar. There aren't too many places where you can find a urinal converted to a planter.....we didn't buy that one.

Thieve's Mkt is definitely worth a visit.

The goal of a church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and that's exactly what this church does to the best of their ability. Friendly people who genuinely care about the condition of everyones soul.

This pretty park is a surprise sandwiched between a nice residential neighborhood and an undistinguished retail business area. There were no vagrants when I was there but it's probably a matter of timing. Treat yourself and spend a few minutes to unwind there. If you don't have time for a walk, just drive by and clear your head. Don't pass this up!

While visiting Florence, we stopped in to check out this nice mall near our hotel. This mall includes some great stores including Belks where we found some good deals.

The strawberries are delicious. Itā€™s a nice experience to leisurely stroll and pick a full tub of strawberries. And the strawberries are DELICIOUS.
