What travelers are saying
- Rachel G6 contributionsIt offers a breathtaking journey with stunning views of the Coachella Valley. The tram ride itself is exhilarating, and once at the top, the mountain station provides a serene escape. Enjoy hiking trails, a unique dining experience, and panoramic vistas. A must-visit for nature lovers and those seeking a quick getaway from the desert heat!Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RobBoston80Boston, MA1,215 contributionsThis was surprisingly great! I love aviation, my parents not so much. But they had a blast looking over all the exhibits. The library and Ukraine displays were pretty nice too!Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason HomeyLewis Center, OH629 contributionsWe came here on a Sunday morning in March. It was a beautiful day and the hiking was fantastic. We did the Murray canyon hike to the waterfall and part of the Palm hike. All in all, we did over 6 miles of hiking. The Murray trail had a lot of crossing back and forth over a stream so if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, it is not the trail for you. The palms are beautiful and the trail was fun. The Palm trail was a sharp decline to get down to it but it was a short decline and then mostly flat at least where we were. I wish we could have spent more time there and gone further on the trails but we sadly had other things to get to. When we left around 1pm, there was a line of 30 cars to get in so come early. Entry is $12 per person unfortunately but well worth it.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RobBoston80Boston, MA1,215 contributionsWe took the tram up so we could save some energy for the other hikes offered. So many wonderful views and vistas. We capped it with a drink at the bar.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- leona kReno, NV12 contributionsNot too big, not too small. Beautiful building, lots to see. If you enjoy art don’t miss it. - Travelerfr0mGe0rgiaAtlanta, Georgia33 contributionsI had a great ranger-led hike with Ranger Chris. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the native Americans, the geology, the plants and more. The hike was beautiful. I recommend going at 8 am. No one else at the beautiful waterfall.Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sandra M2 contributionsThe parking lot and visitor center are still closed after the flooding, but you can park along the main highway and the Oasis is definitely worth a visit. We hiked the Mumawet trail and it was fantastic! It's not a difficult hike, but there is elevation gain of a few hundred feet. We walked back along the Horseshoe Oasis and thoroughly enjoyed the day.Written January 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - d22randyAnchorage, AK275 contributionsGreat thing to do on a Thursday night! Lots of fun food, crafts, vendors, people watching and dog strolling! There are a lot of different types of vendors...from books to candles to all things date, bakery items, ponchos and the list goes on!Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RobBoston80Boston, MA1,215 contributionsWhat a scenic view. We drove this strip a few times to see the sights, any time of day, and you can't go wrong. Some of the sunsets each day were spectacular.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael BSydney, Australia16 contributionsWe just went out there for something to do, but were we suprised with how beautiful this actually was. The palms are totally unexpected in this landscape and seeing them tower up beside the rather meager creek feeding them was a sight to behold.Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - khleber6Sunnyvale, CA57 contributionsWe spent a very pleasant 45 minutes or so among the various cacti and other desert plants. Just a few plants were in bloom in mid-March, but many were just about to bloom. We also caught the beginning of a guided tour where they talked about palm trees which was interesting. Worth adding to your itinerary if you enjoy botanical gardens.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
