An excellent Shiv Parvati Temple in Mylapore Chennai and a must for anyone on a spiritual trip to Chennai.
    Visit is simply heavenly.
Went in the morning on a Saturday. No crowd at all. Reasonably well maintained. Was told to avoid Sundays, and Evenings to avoid rush.

Nice Darshan. You can request the Pandit for a special puja and if there is no crowd he may oblige. You may leave some dakshina in the Aarti Thali if you like.

At the entrance you first pay obescience to Lord Ganesha, and then proceed to the temples of Devi Parvati, and thereafter Shiva.

Do not miss this temple if you are in Chennai.

Snow Kingdom, Mumbai is a great place to visit if you are looking for some fun and adventure in the city. It is located in R City Mall, Ghatkopar, which is easily accessible by public transport. The snow theme park is spread over 9000 square feet and offers various attractions such as snow slides, snowball fights, snowmen, igloos, and more. The temperature inside is maintained at -10°C, so you will feel like you are in a winter wonderland.

I visited Snow Kingdom with my wife and we had a blast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they provided us with jackets, gloves, and boots to keep us warm. We enjoyed the 12D experience, which was a thrilling ride with special effects and motion seats. We also had fun playing with the snow and taking pictures with the snow sculptures. The snow was clean and soft, and it felt like real snow.

The ticket price was reasonable, considering the quality and duration of the experience. We spent about an hour inside the snow park, and we felt it was worth every penny. The park was well-maintained and hygienic, and they followed all the safety protocols. We did not face any issues or problems during our visit.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Snow Kingdom, Mumbai and we would highly recommend it to anyone who loves snow and adventure. It is a perfect place to visit with your family, friends, or partner, and it will make you forget the heat and stress of the city. It is a unique and memorable experience that you should not miss.

We came here around noon on a hot, sunny day. There are stalls at the beach but very few were opened for business during or visit. The story might be different later in the afternoon where more of them would be open and there would be more customers.

There are other attractions to visit here, statues to see and identify, temples to visit, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed my isit here. There is ample free parking during our visit. We visited the interiors of this church, admired the wood carvin and simple decorations. . There is also a small museum showing some artifacts of the old times.

The tomb or crypt is located towards the back of the Basilica. There are pews to kneel/sit down when praying to St. Thomas. The tomb is located at the center of the crypt.

I said my prayers here and took some pictures. Note that there is aircondition here, the area is kept clean.Highly recommended to visit.

One of Chennai’s favourite destinations for Showrooms for fashion, lifestyle, restaurants and entertainment. I have been here a couple of times and it’s one of the first malls that doesn’t up that had branded stores and was a welcome change. Usually it’s crowded with a lot of wandering crowds and window shoppers and friends loitering around for time pass and a few come here fur amusement and entertainment. I visited this place on January the 30th 2023 when we had gone for a Hindi movie.

Visited this very beautiful temple. It’s seems to date back a long time ago judging from the structure and carvings. Very beautiful and serene. Can get quite busy at times. Beautiful chariot carving of Arjun can be seen. Lots of little structure for one to offer respect . Entry is free. It was amazing to see so many young people sitting and meditating and offering prayer. It felt really good to be there. Some crafts could be purchased outside the temple.

My hotel is located in this neighborhood. During my 3 days stay in Chennai, I walked around this neighborhood, admiring the beautiful clothings on display as well as the the jewelries. Just looked around here, but did not buy a thing.

There also are local shops catering to the needs of the locals such as bakery store, small restaurants, etc.

The level for devotion by the devotees is astonishingly breathtaking. We visited early morning, and even at that time the queues had started to building. Despite being expat tourists we opted NOT to get into the fast-track lane and instead, as an act of devoutness, we joined the regular queue. It took us almost 2.5 hours to get from the start to actually seeing and witnessing the Holy Shrine.
I entitled this review... 'your devotion will be tested...' and with good reason as this indeed will be put to the test, we are Brits and that being the case every sinew in our body and all our years of socialising has taught us to queue in an orderly fashion and help others in need of our support...
Unfortunately, this is not the case globally, and it is a case of "everyone for themselves". Be prepared to be jostled, pushed shoved, with queue jumping commonplace, the queue also stalled for period of up to 15 mins . It can be very frustrating, particularly when traveling with young children, however one must never lose sight of the sense of occasion, and demonstrate patience, tolerance and piety. I think that is what got me/us through the queuing experience. Also worth pointing out that the queue spans the length and breath of the temple's rooms, once in the final shrine area the pushing and jostling does get even more intense, we traveled there with my wife and I, and two children aged 10 and 8 years, I held on to my daughter's hand tightly (and wife, my son) and had we a plan incase we misplaced each other. At the actually shrine you literally have 3 to 5 seconds before your are ushered to move-on.
Also worth mentioning that you are categorically not permitted to take recording devices (including mobile phones) into the shrine (your are searched), and have to check them into a cloakroom area beforehand... best advice, on the day of your visit best to leave everything at the hotel, or you'll have to queue again.
The whole experience was certainly spiritual, moreover visiting the Sai Baba temple is a reflection of ones own emotions and sensibilities and trying to be the best version of ourselves!

Sri Dhandayuthapani Temple at Chennai Vadapalani is a very famous Hindu Temple. There are separate Sannithis for Lord Muruga, Lord Shiva and Sri Anjaneya. There are sannithis for Lord Muruga with Valli & Deivasena and a beautiful Urchavar too! The temple is maintained very well and Poojas are offered regularly. Outside the Temple on the eastern side there is a big temple tank with water to the brim. The Temple is situated in the heart of City, Vadapalani area.
