What travelers are saying
- YargLivesAugusta, GA165 contributionsUsually a nice walk. Has some pretty views of the water and surrounding area. Only word of caution is the area is kinda rough especially at night. I wouldn’t go down there after sundown. Homeless, gangs, etc. frequent the area so try and enjoy during the day and in groups.Written July 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David LAsheville, NC20 contributionsWe had a private tour with Peter and it was well worth the detour. Interesting curios, fascinating back stories, and the finale was a display of sword swallowing, which was all the more amazing from front row seats (there was no back row🥴). I guarantee it will be a memorable experience.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ck_NestKennesaw, GA259 contributionsThe discovery center has a boat ride with a band which was fantastic. The museum was an extra plus for the boat ride. We were able to bring some snacks and drinks aboard.Written October 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The parking lot area is a bit overwhelming with the signs warning of towing your vehicle, and the parking lot with painted spots marked "reserved". It sort of seems unwelcoming. The beautiful museum is on the second level. We were greeted at the desk and received a warm introduction and a map. The museum was not busy. We enjoyed the exhibits and floorplan of the halls. The museum gift shop offered unique items for all ages at all price points. The clerk was very nice and obviously loves her work.Written May 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
