Couldn't rate the service and help enough for Mudbrick. We were there to celebrate a birthday for a very short weekend, having traveled over from Australia and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. On arrival we were even greeted with a glass of champagne to add to the celebratory experience. Our 9 year old boy was with us and was included with his own menu, whilst we enjoyed the fantastic experience of a wine pairing menu. Each course was a taste experience, with the staff being highly knowledgable.
Despite it raining that day, it beautifully enveloped the vineyard with a peaceful and calming blanket. Truly wonderful.

Wow ..what an absolute outstanding experience we had last night at Tantalus Estate..Trust the Chef course was incredible..with divine flavours and wonderful presentation..the dishes were served by the friendliest staff who were very knowledgeable about the individual dishes and the outstanding wines that were served throughout the evening. The setting and surrounding gardens gave you the feeling of some place quite unique..I highly recommend the experience to both New Zealanders and overseas tourists..a truly magical experience.

An excellent choice of red and white wines offered for our tasting with lots of information regarding how they were made. Well worth the walk from Onetangi.

We spent an afternoon at Man O' War Vineyards, and had a good time. We took the bus from Oneroa - the driver gave interesting comments about the island along the way. We had a relaxing lunch - charcuterie, lunch, wine - followed by a stroll along the water, time to read books, etc. We were able to get another table later in the afternoon to enjoy another glass of wine and some ice cream. Took the return bus. All good.

We visited as part of the Hop on Hop Off bus tour. Lovely estate with great view! We had lunch in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Disappointing you couldn’t do wine tasting while enjoying a meal or snacks. Wine tasting was good but only one person working who I felt sorry for as he was so busy.
    Not sure if I’d return.

The highlight of our time in Auckland and Waiheke Island.

Jo one of the owners took us around this magnificent sculpture park. Jo shared stories of the many artists represented. She was full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Without a question the highlight of our visit to Waiheke Island and reason enough to go.

If you’ve been to Storm King in NYS, this is even better! Do not miss it!

Oneroa Beach at Waiheke Island, New Zealand - Great for a pre or after lunch walk or swim. This beautiful beach is popular and nearby some grate restaurants for breakfast, Ruch, lunch and dinner.

The attraction is quite some way from the main settled areas of Waiheke, and the road is rough. The walk from the carpark is hilly, our kids of 9 and 12 coped fine, but if you can't walk freely it might be a bit tough. The tour itself was excellent. Tim is a passionate and knowledgeable custodian of tunnel system, and he and Ezra were excellent guides. They brought to life a forgotten piece of NZ's military history, I would recommend this tour

Really enjoyed this tour - near the end of the day and the flights provided a broad selection of wines: tasting flight and the step through by years. Really informative discussion from the team without pressure. Real difference in wine compared to next door vineyards…
Great atmosphere, you need to walk down the lane to get there, but worth it.

My colleagues and I joined a Fullers Winter Wine and Dine Tour and we chose Stonyridge as the winery to visit.

It was essentially a free and easy tour. From the Waiheke Ferry Terminal, we took the Explorer Bus to Stonyridge. It was a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly crowded.

We’d managed to get a sofa seat with views to the valley, which was nice. Food was a lunch platter for sharing.

It was fun watching all the activities around us. There was a small wedding party at that time. Weather was great.

Overall we had a fun time at Stonyridge.

Beautiful location, friendly tasting room experience and awesome wine. The Chardonnay, rose and reserve Syrah were our favorites. The cherry on the cake was the estate olive oil which we purchased to bring home!

Not only the most lovely view but also a great cheese and nibbles to go with the gin tasting.
3 flavors of gin and 3 Vodkas. Friendly and informative staff.
Well worth the drive, would definitely go again.
