Absolutely a must do! I’ve been on more than 40 whale and dolphin watching cruises and this definitely ranks as one of the best. First mate Sarah never stopped working and always had a smile on her face. From serving complimentary hot drinks, to pointing out dolphins, penguins and seals, to checking on passengers and handing out cookies, she was amazing. The boat was small and personal, just the right size so everyone can see. Take this trip…you won’t be disappointed!
It was a great trip, and Pete was a wonderful guide and driver. The views were spectacular and the sheep farm was an interesting stop. Pete had great stories to tell and was very knowledgeable about everything we saw.
Our driver Tanya (with a "Y") was a hoot - very much the character, and quite a knowledgeable guide. The boat and crew for the cruise were outstanding and you're in good and safe hands should you sail with them. One of the patrons had a medical episode and the crew put into play their training and dealt with the matter efficiently and carefully. Akaroa and its harbour are a must see for anyone visiting the South Island.
We had one day in Christchurch and this was the best way to see/learn/do the city. Pete was an amazing guide/host. We started with a cup of coffee and then hopped in his van for a tour around. Hitting all the highlights and then some. Among the things included was Punting on the Avon (a must), the hop on/hop off trolley and the gondola. We hit the beach as well as saw the area that used to be a suburb but was completely razed after the big earthquake in 2011. Stopped at a very cool food hall for lunch and learned about the history of the building. We're so glad we found this tour! Whether you have one day or several in Christchurch take this tour!
A good way of getting to know the centre of Christchurch. Used the tram twice, different drivers/ guides but the stories scripted, a bit of a shame! I recommend Quake Centre as a stop off!
The gondola ride is very dramatic, with views of Christchurch and also of the sea port on the other side of the mountain. It was stormy and windy when we were there, so we didn't walk around as much as we would have liked. It is a great way to see the city.
Best Ziptrek I have done. Great guides and the views were stunning while going on the Ziptrek lines. Well worth the money. Our guides were Sam and Diago. They were amazing.
I have been to Christchurch so many times, but this tour revealed gems I have never experienced before. Andrew was a great tour guide, and if you have never been in a tesla before it was great fun too. He had the extra plus of recommending great restaurants and shopping etc.
We took the Arthur’s Pass daytrip with the TranzApline train on the return leg. Clive is a very informative, knowledgable guide. Really liked his relaxed, unhurried style. The lunchpacks were brilliant and they catered for our veggie diet. The minibus was also very comfortable to travel in. I have no hesitation in recommending this travel company. Keep up the good work guys.
This was a special birthday gift. The trip had to be altered as the jet boat company had no drivers at the shallows area. This gave us a longer helicopter flight to a different location a lot higher up the Waimakariri river (which we had done about 2 months before). The scenery from the helicopter was stunning and the extended flight time gave us a better view of this beautiful country. The jet boat trip, though we'd done it previously, was again awesome. The river had changed so much in just 2 months. The raw natural beauty of the river and surrounding rock formations is a must see.
The tour of Christchurch was informative and very thorough. Kevin gave us lots of information and put it all in perspective. I did not know what to expect at the International Antarctic Center Admission. It was fantastic. It was very interactive and informative. So glad we saw it!
Chris was a great guide! He was incredibly informative and personable and showed us everything there is to see in Christchurch and more. The tour was perfectly paced. We had time on our own for lunch in the Riverside Market, and got a real feel for the city. I highly recommend Chris and this tour.
