I loved the park. Very pretty and well made animal stays. Also lot of places you can walk trough and see animals up close , but with very good rules and info. I am in love and I wish I lived closer by it then I do now so I could visit more often.

This is huge. Lots of fun but… very long queues :( sometimes you have to wait 60-90 minutes. Not enough shops and those which are, also very busy

In general it was fun but waiting times were too big

I went to this zoo last year and had an amazing time! The zoo had so many animals from all over the world. I loved how well the animals were taken care of. The places where they were located at were big and looked like their natural homes. The best thing was when we saw the sea creatures. There were many special types of fish and small sharks. The zoo had really some interesting buildings. Overall the experience was really nice and I will definitely go again.

I’d been here several times before but not for about 15 years: the place has been updated and modified and is much better than it used to be. Now you can walk around the animal park which is a much better experience, and there are some nice cafes and rest areas around the park. The caves are as impressive as ever, although I felt the group size was too large as many people could not hear the explanations. The sound and light show has been modernised and is pretty impressive.

I was impressed that the cafes all served local food and drinks, and even though the Pavillon brasserie is mostly chips and stuff it’s all well done and quite creative.

This is a lovely city park in a very upscale part of town. Some beautiful buildings around taking advantage of the views of the nicely-landscaped green space. We hopped off the bus in front and were pleasantly surprised with the park, so we went in to explore a bit.

Absolutely amazing! These caves are not only visually stunning but the explanations provided were also exceptional. A visit here is an absolute must!

Laurent is undoubtedly the guide of the year. I have never encountered a guide so knowledgeable and engaging. I could have listened to him for decades.!

Great park with rich and varied bird life, historic ruins and very interesting historical features.
You’ll need decent boots fir the walk, it’s not far but the terrain is a little rough at times. About half way around the loop there is a wee cafe, very funky!

A beautiful and tranquil space located within walking distance of the central part of the city. The garden beds are carefully maintained and enhanced in some areas by statues and/or the sounds of trickling water. Many of the creative garden techniques employed by the gardeners (orchard) are brilliant and could be reproduced at home.

The zoo is very big, split into continents, saw my first ever bonobos, kangaroos, indian rhinos, vicunas and kordofan giraffes. There's an obvious route in each areas so you don't miss anything. The animals have big areas especially the bonobos and asian elephants and look very happy. This is a lovely place to come and visit if you're in the area.

The area is very nice both for the nature and for the Abbey. Some areas can be crowded in the weekends especially on June and July

Parc de Bruxelles is located just across Royal Palace and considered as Royal Park. Copying Versailles, the Habsburg empress Maria Theresa of Austria (Marie-Antoinette's mom) had this symmetrical park laid out in 1776 (she ruled but never visited, the city). This is one of many large parks of Brussels, which started with an awareness of the importance of city planning. Honestly, the park is just a park, nothing special, just take a walk, sit and breathe. And if it weren’t for the funny sculptures scattered along the alley, there’s not much to do or see there.

It’s a peaceful stroll outside hustle and bustle of the city center to see 4 windmills. It starts from Kruispoort and goes till Dampoort. Most of the way goes in a shadow of a park, so the route is also suitable for a hot day. One of the mills, the Sint-Janshuismolen still works and is open for visits. It costs 5 EUR and also included in the Musea Brugge Card. All in all, it’s a nice escape to have a rest from the crowds.

First hike in our own country, what a wonderful place. We found the info on the internet, but were given much more at the tourist office.

The walk itself was not as hard as we thought it would be, but what an adventure for our boys (13 and 11). They loved every step of it!

    Definitely a BIG recommendation!

Big park with free entrance, offering a wide variety of different statues spread out in the nature.
Very relaxing, at times there are special exhibitions.
