Fantastic architecture enhanced with the water mirror in front of it. Best visited at night when the lights pop out more.

Spanning the mighty Gironde river, this impressive & very long bridge, is the entrance to Bordeaux.
Built in 1822, it was the first in the city.

It’s unusual to find such a large open space in the middle of a large City. With a ferris wheel at the river end of the square.

We stumbled across this lovely, historic square on one of our wanders through Bordeaux.
Beautiful old buildings, nice sculpture in the middle.

A nice little park close by the cathedral. Close to the Square of the same name with cafes and shops. Best part of it was the green oasis with flowering shrubs in the heart of the city.
