Wonderful, impressive, breathtaking, stunning .. what more can i say? I have seen some of the best beaches on this planet but I take my hat off to this one. Please do yourself a favour and check this paradise out.

Stunning small beach as are most on this coastline. Experience slightly dampened by a jellyfish sting, ouch! be very careful as there were lots in the shallow water.

Just to start off, I'm happy I have been visited the dreamy Cala Mariolu three times so far.
This amazing stretch of pebble beach rivals in beauty with the others of the Golfo the Orosei, but almost every year Cala Mariolu has reserved a decent place in top ten famous beaches.
Come early and you'll have the beach for yourself. Around noon, Cala Mariolu is packed with dreamers.
Before you go:
- bring water shoes, as the pebbles are quite uncomfortable for your feet, expecially if you like to walk the beach.
- there is a snack bar at Cala Mariolu, where you can buy refreshments and paninis at a very decent price.
- come here with your snorkel mask; the sea is brilliantly clean; soft corals and curious fishes awaits you.

I've never seen such beautiful clear blue water in my life. It is simply stunning. August is very crowded as the Italians also take their vacation in this month. There is a great little snack bar with delicious panini, pizza and gelato. You can explore and find a cave...amazing! and also jump off rocks. We had and incredible time.

From the moment we arrived we instantly felt a connection! The water was warm, crystal clear, a swimmer and snorkeler's dream come true! As the Cala Mariolu is only accessible by boat, tourists are relatively few and at times we felt this piece of paradise belonged to us alone. My boys were able to jump from the rocks into the crystal, clean waters.

Simply the best. It gets crowded in the afternoon with big groups coming around 2pm. Otherwise it's beautiful. The most beautiful beach I've seen in Europe!

Spectacularly scenic beach! One of the most beautiful places in Mediterranian. Heavenly turquoise water. We went to La Caletta by car and then took the boat trip to visit Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, Cala Sisine and Grotta ( forgot the name). It is possible to take the boat from Cala Gonone as well.

We took out a RIB [rigid inflatable boat] with a 40 hp outboard on it - a great way to see all the beaches & rock formations along the bay. All for EUR 150 including fuel from Lino Fancello at Dolmen - Servizi Turistici. He also was good at replying to emails & when we arrived was renting another couple a moped. The boat was in great condition & the guys were helpful. The boats 'go like stink' if you want them to!

I'm Sardinian, I'm used to beautiful coastline and clear waters, so trust me if i say that this beach is the best we have.
I strongly recommend to visit it in the early hours of the morning, as it fills up with hundreds of people later on.

Buongiorno a tutti,
