Starting at 'Bezoekerscentrum Duinpanne', you have several different walking experiences. We combined several through Calmeynbos, Westhoek and the beach. Different views, different flora and some fauna if you are lucky. Great Viewpoints. Take your time, enjoy the nature and relax.

Beautiful piece of nature!
I visited this nature reserve with my parents when I was a child and visited it now with my own children. It still looks amazing! There are some panoramic view points with stunning views over the dunes.
It's a very nice walk (we did the 10km trail) where you cross very different types of nature. But indeed, like other people already mentioned here, it's a real work out. Walking through the dunes is intensive! :-)
Although there are a lot of trash bins along the way, there is only one point where there are toilets. This is difficult with children.

The main entrance is located at the end of the "Dynastielaan", where in summer a log cabin is opened, where info is available. If you look at the card, you will remark different colours of path-indications related to different lengts of walking. Dogs on the leach, please. Children close to you. Protect yourself with step shoes, and sun cream. DO NOT SMOKE and DO NOT PICKNICK and DO NOT THROWE THINGS ON YOUR WAY.

Nice walk but you have to find the way partially yourselve as the discription from the local tourist office is less than adequate.

Fitness trail and games for all ages. This is located between Plopsaland and De Panne Centrum. Unfortunately, the main area was closed and most information is only available in Flemish and French (few things only in English or German). Still, we learned about the local weekdieren, vogels, vis and schaaldieren. And we enjoyed playing a game where we learned zoet, zout, zuur, bitter.

We enjoyed this lovely area away from the busy beach side. Together with friends we had a walk through here and had stunning lookouts.

A ma connaissance les chiens sont admis dans la réserve.
