About
Since 1922 up until today, memorable pages of motor racing and motorcycling history have been written on the Monza Circuit. The best drivers, the most famous cars, the most important events have created a special legend which has existed for almost 100 years. Autodromo Nazionale Monza is placed within Monza Park which belongs to the cities of Monza and Milan. Monza Circuit was built in 1922, in only 110 days, both for competitions and for motor (auto & motor cycle) testing (Brooklands was built in 1907 and Indianapolis in 1909). Since then, the Italian Grand Prix has always taken place on the Monza track (except during the war years and a few other occasions). The location of the Circuit in Monza Park, is unique in the world. This natural setting is both attractive and delightful. Its location favours the organisation of events and meeting in open areas for exibitions, entertainment and music and supported by internal structures, as a restaurant with 350 places, a 160-person self-service and 2 bars, one bank counter and one information office which are open during the main events. Moreover there are sport and technical shops and a specialized bookstore with international and rare editions. The park offers also other facilities as swimming pool, camping, 18-hole golf course, manège and bicycle rental.

    Great tour
We took the tour which involved visiting the vip boxes with views of the track and pit lanes. We were able to stand on the podium, visit the press room and the race control room. The guide was really good and gave the history of the track as well as talking us through an F1 day. The tour finished with a drive around the track in a mini van. We visited early and the group was small and we got to ask lots of questions. The only down side was trying to find the track. We eventually walked into the town to find a taxi to take us to the park where the track was located. Once there, there was no shop and very little else to do. Luckily we were able to hail a taxi to take us back to the train station.

Good half day visit. Be aware of longer time there
Firstly, IF DRIVING.. follow signs to Servicio parking /Fan Zone. I could not find any information on the website about this so I hope that helps you. Easy peasy then. Park and go to shop/information. We booked online for the 'track' tour which was time slotted for 1230. We got there before 1215 (not wanting to be late) and took the upgrade to track 'experience' for only another €5. This was a good deal BUT we had to wait till 1.30pm for that 10 minute drive in a minivan with a small group..which was actually good fun AND then wait around til 2.30pm for the tour. This included a visit to the vip boxes with views of the track, the press room and the race control room as well as getting onto the high podium... I found this fun and there were plenty of photo opportunities too. The guide was very knowledgable and explained the history of the track along the corridors (photos) between the visiting areas. We did not get down to the track as they were testing cars but we were intrigued by the speed of them so that wasn't a huge deal for us. We filled the time by walking round other free access areas and shop/cafe. Great clean toilets and free water top zone 👌 Do go..100%..but be aware the time you book isn't the starting time of tours and allow yourself about 3 hours to complete the tour from original time slot

Temple of speed - great experience
I’d read a lot about the poor fan experience from 2022, and was pleasantly surprised by a great GP day for general admission. We arrived early (7am) and parked in one of the brown zones (prebooked) and entered through gate B. Very efficient, and security was relaxed so we were allowed plenty of food and drink. We found a great spot with a mini grandstand, plenty of good food and toilets. Brilliant race and seemed very well organised - making this iconic venue a truly great day out!
