After Burgundy weekend
paź 2018 • Pary
After a great and quiet weekend in Burgundy, the great hotel where we stayed proposed very good bio grandmother's jams for breakfast. We decided to pop by and to shop some pots before going back to Paris. This is a great little sweetie's cave where you can buy excellent raspberries, red currant, cherries and strawberries jams but also some fruit juices, pickles, mustards, wooden bird houses, etc...All very nice homemade and fresh products. When you enter you have a good smell of fermenting fruits! The owners are really cool and nice. I do recommend and can't wait to enjoy a bread spread with rasberries!!

Definitely worth a visit to imbibe the smell of fermenting fruit in the back of the shop, and perhaps buy some of the tempting delicacies on display

Wonderful Olivier family produces a wonderland of fruit items!
maj 2016 • Pary
Located in a tiny village Concoeur way up the hill off the main highway of burgundy in a beautiful shop where they make everything one could imagine out many types of local berries. Taste their wonder fruit ketchup mustard's jams syrups cream of fruits, butters with fruit and brandies with fruits. Well worth the drive up into the hill country overlooking the vineyards, fantastic little shop cute as a button and worth your time.

Their son was a wonderful host for english speaking quests while dad worked away in the back on the copper pots making their magical items out of the artisanal fruits! I wish we had more room to take even more back to the point we wanted to throw cloths out to make room! I understand they can be also bought at Williams Sonoma in the USA.

Go for the best made with care

We stopped in and were greeted by the owner who let us sample his delicious products. Each was better than the last. Don't buy cassis from the grocery store or a big producer. Buy here! The difference is so easy to taste. The black current butter was off the charts!

The kind of place you wish you could take home with you!
paź 2014 • Pary
Ferme Fruirouge was the find of our trip. We drove in the country, among pastoral fields, and then saw the pink sign announcing the Fruirouge Farm. They have won an impressive number of trophies and medals for their agricultural prowess. Products are home grown, always fresh, and organically produced. It is a family operation, going back four generations, with the kids working in the “store.” Black Cassis de Bourgogne is the flagship product. There are a variety of delicious jams, fruit butters, unusual mustards, including the famed cassis mustard, vinegars, drinks including brandies of many types, and condiments. They have a cassis-ketchup which is just heavenly. You are allowed to taste everything, and the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and full of fun. It is the kind of place that one wishes to have back home for your own kitchen. As it was, we stocked up on all that we could either consume on our journey, or take back to the States with us. It’s probably best to have a little snack before arrival, so you won’t lose total control!

Best jam I've ever had
kwi 2015 • Pary
Lovely little shop I never would've stopped if it weren't for the Rick Steve's mention. Very friendly, and the products...bought the award winning raspberry jam, some spritzers, and a few other things. I can honestly say the raspberry jam is the best jam of any type I've ever had in my entire life-entire jar is gone! So good! Pleasant place to stop at and a nice change from the non-stop wine tasting/purchasing.

Enjoyable Stop
mar 2015 • Pary
We had come from winding through the vineyard towns south of Ferme Fruirouge and read about this shop in Rick Steve's Guide. We are so glad we stopped. The enthusiastic son of the owners was our salesperson and we were guided through the varietals of jams and then the ketchup and mustard and cassis liquors...all delicious! We each made several purchases to take home to the United States.

Remote but interesting

If you can get past all the burgundy pink paint, this place has some delicious fresh treats on offer. There is a little shop selling stuff and their delicious fresh products made from local fruits: syrups, jellies, etc. The old kitchen is just behind the shop and you can look in. The day we were there the chef was making three enormous pots of black current jam. You can taste a variety of products and make a purchase. The whole stop won't take but 10 to 20 minutes and you will be enthralled with their freshness.
