Its a real treat. Get dressed up. Have dinner first, or appetizers and a drink. They have desserts. Not a bad table in the place. Live music, famous musicians, intimate sexy atmosphere. We just saw Herb Alpert and Lani Hall...FABULOUS. We've been to other performances there and it never has disappointed.

For mature audiences only. Lovely restored theatre. Comfortable booths and bar-type seating. Food from Wild Ginger was delicious. Due to nature of the venue, be patient with server.

We recently enjoyed an evening performance of "Uncle Bonsai" at this outstanding dinner nightclub venue. A large room with exceptional accoustics, interesting seating choices and a great Pacific Rim menue with a variety of selections, excellently prepared, with reasonable pricing and with attentive and customer friendly serving staff.

We have been to the Triple Door on several occasions. Mostly for jazz performances but recently attended their burlesque holiday show - Land of the Sweets, roughly based on the Nutcracker Ballet. It was definitely a strip burlesque show but very tastefully done although Not intended for children. It was very professional with quality costumes and an excellent live combo providing the music.
The food is sourced from the Wild Ginger restaurant located next door and is tasty - doesn't taste like an afterthought. There is also a good happy hour in the street level bar.

One of only a couple venues I will attend in Seattle. This one never disappoints me. Great ambiance and not a bad seat in the house. The food used to be served from Wild Ginger next door and was amazing. Didn’t care for the meal on their “new” menu. If you reserve your seats you can eat elsewhere and still have your seat ready when you arrive. Bar service was great during the show.

The Triple Door – 216 Union St. Seattle, Washington – Sep 23/15

We visited The Triple Door to attend the Emily West (finalist on America’s Got Talent 2014) show. This is the first time we’ve been to this venue and we were pleasantly surprised.

The venue took me back to a more glamorous, glitzy time reminding me of Las Vegas show lounges where it was common-place for shows to be offering dinner with plush half-moon booth seating and quality live music. It’s too bad Vegas has lost most of this style of venue but our gain that The Triple Door has maintained it.

The meal offered was Thai/American infusion. Salads were priced at $11, entrées $13-27, wine $22 ½ bottle and up. We had the Mandarin Chicken which was served with two types of rice – steamed and brown. The chicken was tasty and the mandarin orange sauce delicious. Unfortunately, both rice servings were dry and kind of tasteless. It was if the rice had been sitting for quite some time in a warming tray.

One thing that really bodes well for The Triple Door is they offer a ½ bottle wine service on some selections. This works well if you’d like to try a glass of wine but don’t want to pay for a full bottle in case you wind up not liking your selection or nobody else in your party drinks wine. It gives you two+ glasses of wine – just enough for one person - A nice touch!

I really enjoyed the venue and entertainment. Parking was right next door ($10 for the night). I certainly will return. I will give the dinner option one more try and if it turns out the same again then we’ll do dinner elsewhere as there are lots of other options because the Triple Door is right downtown Seattle and only a couple of blocks from Pike Place.

It was a bad experience from the very start...unprofessional not courteous to their customers. Myself, family and all associates of mine to include customers who I encounter on a daily basis will not come to this establishment.

Went to see The Carpeters last night. As always the act was fabulous and food was mediocre at best. New twist last night was the over 1 1/2 hour wait to get the bad food. I guess they want to make sure you are hungry enough to eat anything.

Before the show, I discovered you could listen to music in the bar. I really enjoyed the piano and bass jazz performance before the main show. It was a perfect way to begin my visit to Seattle.

We came here on a night where they had a group event downstairs and thus the menu was limited to a few sharing plates, but the full drinks menu.
The food was well cooked, though and the staff attentive. The live jazz band improvised for a bit and then had a long break. The place emptied quite fast after that. Was good for a relaxed evening, but not if you're looking for some nightlife action.
