Neighborhood: Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Worth a stop if you are a Lego fan (and even if you are not)
We practically stumbled upon this store and, naturally, had to go in. An amazing tribute to Lego. We did not buy any sets but instead opted for creating some custom minifigs (that you can design right here on the spot). Great atmosphere, fun, and despite a queue at the door, customer service is friendly and very efficient.

Ok as a store but not that special
Fine but not that special. We went with my 6 year old grandson to the store by the Flatiron building on a recent weekday. He is a Lego fan and enjoyed looking at the various sets for sale (making his lists for future present requests) and the prebuilt statues. But not much more than that.

Great place for people of all ages.
There was a long line in front of the store, but it went by pretty fast (15 minutes) the store itself was great, it was spacious. The Legos were great there is a good variety of them. There are great LEGO sculptures it makes you feel great. I would definitely go again it is a great place to visit.

Fun, free family activity near Times Square
Lego Store is a great free, family friendly activity to do while visiting the area of Times Square. I came here Presidents’ Day weekend with 3 kiddos ages 7-12. All had a blast, and loved building at the ground floor Lego building table. Even my youngest which hates Lego got into it. We spent 2 hours (atypical) here and I had to drag them out b/c they do not have a public bathroom. The store is relatively small and has two floors. As a result, the store controls occupant levels. There is typically a line to get in. We waited about 10-15 mins. If you are into Lego, The store has some fun and popular displays (marvel, DC, star wars etc).. The pricing is surprisingly not inflated, and typically closer to what you will see online. Pros: free, fun activity for kids of all ages who can tolerate Lego. Product pricing reasonable. Staff are very nice. Cons: Absent the small building tables on each floor, there isn’t much else to do other than look at displays and products. For those not enamored with Lego, this may be a 30 min activity tops. No bathroom. They recommend you go across the street, which for us was closed the day we attended. Have a bathroom option in your back pocket.

We had to go inside while we visited Rockefeller Center.

The store was still limiting the number of customers inside but the wait was less than 10 minutes.

This Lego store was 2 floors and full of NYC landmarks with a yellow taxi cab that one could sit inside, Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty and more. Movie characters from The Hulk and Ghostbusters also were on display.

If you are shopping there were a lot more sets available for purchase.

Always enjoy seeing these Lego flagship stores and their unique Lego creations. Lots of hours and patience behind each one.

This was my son's #1 stop and it did not disappoint! The structures built, the custom mini figure creation, and the sheer amount of builds to see was fun and we spent almost 2 hours here. We created a mini figure upstairs too. You pay for one then get a box with a code you can scan at a computer to customize the shirt of a lego character. You can put words, stickers, icons, and color your own and then they will print it in the store in a matter of minutes. Ours only took about 10 and we got to watch it in a queue on a screen then see it get printed on the printer. There are many bins of pants, hats, and accessories you can pick out the rest of your custom character. We chose this store over the one by Flatiron building because this one is bigger and has the mini figure factory and more builds in it.

This is my second visit to a Lego store in the USA and living the way they are laid out. Big. Spacious. Colourful. Inviting.
This store was particularly good with plenty of displays including the Statue of Liberty with its own spin. Plus a great creation of New York at the rear of the store.
Staff are ever so helpful and store layout easy to navigate. The dragon makes for some fun hanging from the roof.
This is a must visit if nothing more than to watch the joy of kids and little plastic bricks.

🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵 5-star = can’t wait to return

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! It’s my favorite store in NYC. The Marvel figures, Ghost Busters, Mario, and the New York scenery fill up all the spaces like I’m in Legoland. There’s all kinds of legos to buy and my favorite part was being able to make my own custom mini figure. You can use their drawings but I created my own unique drawing. Now I have the only Lego like it in the whole world. #sylviatourstein #everydaykidstravel

Display area upon entrance is geared for crowds, waiting line to get in moves rather fast
The only novel attractions are to take a selfie with the hulk or in the taxi.
No real "Wow" factor .
Window displays are good but need to be cleaned. Can't see the purpose of having little ones play with unsanitized pieces.
Didn't buy anything, prefer online shopping.

This place is SO COOL! I love how friendly the staff is. I got to build my own mini figure for my partner and it turned out great. Trying to find mini figure accessories was a bit chaotic though. I left my water bottle there and they were very helpful about setting it aside for me and letting me come in to get it without waiting in the long line.

I think I genuinely could spend all day in this shop. We found it by pure accident while we had some spare time and decided to visit the following day, as there was a pretty hefty queue to get in. The next morning we arrived 10 minutes before opening and we were 6th in the queue to enter. Crazy busy. There's some fantastic builds in the store which are an ideal photo op for children, and adults (!). We customised our own figures and designed their torso, which involves you drawing it on a screen and them printing it onto a figure. What a great idea!!!!!!! We had a fantastic time doing that. Lots of NYC themed lego to take for souvenirs. A great place!
