Spectacular place to see the world in 2 hours!
gru 2019 • Dla rodziny
What a beautiful place to go and see all the miniatures of the world in 2 hours we enjoyed every little bit of it and were fascinated by the details of each landmark and the surroundings. I can’t wait to come back to do the scavenger hunt with my kids when they grow up! It was the highlight of our trip!

A slightly unbalanced view of the world...
paź 2019
Staff were super friendly, and some of the countries were nicely represented.
But very biased in terms of representation - only some locations are covered. And some things are just wrong :-)
The interactive keys were a nice touch, but two of them broke as we went around.
There were also things to "find" depending on the season, but it was not clear why or how.
All in all, a totally acceptable way to spend an hour but no wow factor. Could be much better.

Great visit - it's a must in NYC! Great for kids and for adults. Definitely you feel that you are away from Times Square and it's a trip around the world

Somewhat expensive but that is predictable in Times Square. Definitely the best miniature museum I've seen recently. The details are amazing

Welcome to Lilliput
sty 2020
Gulliver's gate is a fantastic tour de force of the world in miniature! Many of the most famous locales in the world are reproduced in exacting detail. And even better many of the people, cars, boats, trains, planes, balloons, and other things MOVE.

I was in NYC for a work trip and a co-worker and I decided to visit Gulliver's Gate. We nearly balked at the price - around $40 each; but paid and entered. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Some of the highlights:

The working airport where planes take off and land
The Panama Canal with working ships and locks
Moscow
The Middle East - Holy Land
New York City - Including the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

You could rush through in an hour or stay to view all the tiny details and search for the unique "easter eggs" thrown in (for example I found the Scooby Doo gang and the Mystery Machine) and probably stay for four or five hours.

I heartily recommend this adventure into the world of the Lilliputians and am sure it will delight everyone from 5 to 95.

An Amazing Feat of Artistry and Detail
lis 2019
I just learned that this attraction is closed at the moment, moving to a new location, with a yet to be announced opening date. Hopefully this will give them room to expand and create even more elaborate scenes. I visit New York fairly frequently, usually the Theatre District, and I had no idea this was there. Walking by, you might not have even noticed it, but it was probably one of the coolest things I've seen in New York in a while, a city filled with cool things. It's easy to get caught up in taking pictures, as everywhere you turn is something so incredible that you can't believe someone created such a small figure with such intricate detail. But if you can restrain yourself, try to experience it without taking pictures. You'll be able to appreciate the details so much better if you aren't constantly looking for the perfect shot. I will take my own advice when I visit again after they re-open, and I will definitely be visiting again. This is the perfect place for someone who dreams of travelling the world, and you can learn a lot about the locations as you make your way through the exhibits. We were able to watch one of the artists working behind a window, which was cool, and you can have miniature figures made of yourself and your family if you'd like at an additional cost. Do yourself a favor and keep this on your radar for whenever it opens back up to the public. It's more than worth the wait, and you will not be disappointed. This was such a gem, and I cannot say enough good things about it, regardless of whatever controversy may have caused it to temporarily close.

Sorry
sty 2020
Had planned to go to Gulliver's Gate based on the reviews. Had checked out opening time only a few days ago. Nevertheless, to my surprise, Gulliver's Gate had a sign on the window indicating they are closed for moving. Too bad they did not put notification of such up on their web site until so recently that I'd not seen it. Now I just won't go because they wasted a trip in to the city for me - let them waste someone else's time.
