Riverside north from Bewdley
mar 2021 • Pary
Followed the footpath signs from Bewdley. Easy route. Not too muddy round trip from 🚙 car park just over 5 miles

Lovely and peaceful at reservoir with many benches. Lots of bird song. Not many people.

Would be fabulous when steam trains running as you have a great view of them passing

Take a picnic and enjoy

Peaceful Environment
paź 2020 • Pary
There are several free carparks around Eymore Wood, the one by the water treatment plant is closest to the reservoir.
The path to the reservoir is next to the water treatment plant and goes through a wood with a pedestrian crossing over the Severn Valley railway line.
It is set in a beautiful wooded valley with a large and small reservoir and borders the River Severn.
We very much enjoyed a quiet and peaceful walk.

Disabled then you're not welcome!
sie 2020
Coming out of lockdown looking for qiet place where my disabled wife can enjoy her passion for bird watching.
Got near Trimpley Reservoir, no disabled parking anywhere. We parked off the road and walked down the hill towards the reservoir. Lots of 'Keep out' signs everywhre leading to the sailing club but we are members of Teifi Boat Club in Cardigan so we thought no one would mind us walking through their car park. We were accosted by a member of the club as we walked through 'Are you members, haven't you seen the keep out signs' My wife is disabled' I replied 'do you want us to go back to the car, there are no disabled parking spaces anywhere' he responded, 'you might as well carry on now and shrugged his shoulders when we mentioned Disabled Parking.
Severn Trent Water need to get their act together and allow disabled parking spaces near this inhospitable sailing club ASAP so that everyone can enjoy the area!

Pleasant Walk
wrz 2019 • Wyjazd w pojedynkę
Pleasant walk down to the reservoir, one old guy course fishing otherwise deserted.
Must get a fishing license for this place, lovely surroundings with over sixty pegs, I hear they have regular competitions.

Lovely scenic walk

Had gentle scroll down to the reservoir from the top car park. There was not many people about so was quite peaceful. There were boats sailing on the reservoir too. On the way back we crossed the Severn Valley railway and managed to catch a glimpse of the steam train passing by moments later. Allow at least an hour for the walk.

Lovely scenery. Easy walk either from Arley or from Bewdley. Lots of fish in reservoir. No boats sailing on there today

Lots of walks around the reservoirs!

Park up in one of the numerous car parks by Eyemore Wood and make your way down the paths on the left hand side, crossing the Severn Valley Railway to bring you out by the lower lake. You can then stroll round and get to the top lake. Head down the bank and you are by the river from which you can head west to Bewdley or East to Arley.

Bewdley is longer but runs parallel to the SVR whilst Arley is shorter and is more scenic.

Either way, plenty to see and a lovely place to walk on a calm cool afternoon!

Hills but lovely over the svr onto the reservoirs. Easy parking and peaceful by the water. An hour walk or more. Mind the railway when it's running it gives a great view.
