From the first contact Patricia was great, she answered all my questions and I had many. She really took the time and was very nice. I had special requests for my flowers, music and she came through with every detail. J.R was at our hotel on time to pick us up and was so helpful with our Marriage licence application so we didnt have to fill it out at the License office. The drive to get the license was minimal and he dropped us right in front and waited, he was very accomadating and friendly. Back at the Chapel, Marrieta truly was a caring wedding coordinator and went over all the details so it all went smooth. The Chapel is very lovely I chose it because it was decorated in gold and neutral colors. It has a very heartwarming elegance. There really is a glow inside the chapel.During the ceremony Marieta and JR took the pictures and video, I felt I was with family. We had eloped so none of our family or freinds were present. The minister made some beautiful personal comments to me and my groom and that made it very special. After the ceremony They took many more pictures in the chapel and outside in the garden. Then my final request was to be dropped off at Harrahs we love to sing Karaoke at the piano bar, since we met singing Karaoke 12 years ago. I called my children from inside the limo as we drove, JR was truly a part of our Happy News, very special! So much love and JOY. we brought our wedding cake along and jr helped to get us all set for our wedding celebration. I truly want to express my gratitude for a completely amazing experience because it was perfect from beginning to my final hug goodbye to JR, I will never forget how caring people really made our wedding " a dream wedding"

Do not go here. They nickel and dime you for everything. Our $295 package turned into $1100 with all of the hidden fees, envelopes for tipping their 18% fee and all the other taxes. They called to say the limo we ordered with the package was broken so we could upgrade for $167. Then they were an hour late picking us up. The printed pictures we purchased with the package never came. I was told when I enquirer about the pictures I could print them out myself......The pictures they took were never edited or retouched like they said. They took them straight from the camera and put them on a thumb drive and sent them to us. This was after several phone calls and 1 month later.... GO ANYWHERE ELSE...........

Where do all you cranky people come from? Attended the wedding of my son and his beautiful fiancee yesterday and it was lovely in every way. Driver was friendly and courteous, staff accommodating and the photographer took great pics. Sure it costs money for the full pics, but have you had a professional portrait taken recently? You don't have to buy them. Out of the many many shots taken, only 3 were of the eyes-closed variety. I would highly recommend this place if you want an intimate wedding respectfully performed without all the stage management and drama of a full Bridezilla production.

Let me point of the very FEW positives: The minister [he was sweet & nice], the woman at the desk [also very nice]... the price [cheap!]
Well, now that I've noted the good.. the BAD. Our limo driver was rude. The place is attached to a seedy old motel which had loud people who looked very much like gang members hanging around outside, the photographer was rude and continually yawned during the ceremony, the man who showed up the [VERY OVER PRICED!] photos seemed to be high on cocaine, the mandated poses for photos we refused to buy [$80 for an 8x10? yea right!] were similar to those from a jr high dance... we had family and ourselves fly from 3 states away to be married here.. and then realized we should have read reviews, and not taken the well put together website they offer as fact. It was miserable..
We were told we could "view photos" online in 4-6 months time.. no idea WHERE however. Just lovely. DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE.. and if you have doubts PLEASE ask them a ton of questions and actually SEE this hell hole for yourself. We were so disappointed.

We went to Vegas specifically to get married. We are on a budget so we picked the most inexpensive package they offered. $125 which includes use to the chapel, $50 minister fee included. Well first of all you ARE NOT ALLOWED to take any pictures inside the chapel. This was not explained to me beforehand. They did however provide their own photographer who did take some beautiful pictures. I guess they were gold plated because they wanted $65 for one 8x10. If you wanted to buy a CD with all 40 pictures on it you had to fork over $495. Their cheapest picture was $35.95 for a 4x6. I was so upset and disappointed. You would be better off going with a more expensive package that includes pictures. Another rip-off is that the package advertised was $125 with a $85 deposit. I figured that we would just be paying the $40 balance at the time of the wedding... oh no..... They tack on a fee for a CD recording of your ceremony for $25 (whether you want it or not), License filing fee, and service fees. We ended up having to pay an additional $92. The whole ceremony was over in less than 10 minutes. The minister was nice BUT at the end when they are robbing you blind at check-out, they hand you an envelope for the ministers tip with a stamp on the front stating that a minimum tip of $40 is what they prefer. We did not tip anything because we don't like being told what minimum is preferred. I saw the minister come up and snatch the empty envelope off the desk. I guess I need to become a minister so I can make $40 for 10 minutes. This guy must rake in the dough on the weekends.... GEEZ!
Overall we were very disappointed. Although the chapel was nice inside, the outside is very tacky for it's attached to an ugly pink motel with a "FUN CITY" sign directly above it. They just get you in and get you out fast. I don't know how they sleep at night knowing they are taking advantage of people on their wedding day.

We were married March 13, 2012. This is a perfect place for couples who want a nice wedding with no over-the-top frills. We were picked up in a Cadillac Escalade at our hotel, escorted inside to get our marriage license at the court house, taken to the chapel where the ceremony was simple but very nice. Reverand Bird did a fantastic job and the office manager was very polite and helpful and did a great job with our pictures. We were not rushed in and out, no one else was there, and we felt like we were most important on our day at our time. At first I thought the audio recording was a little strange, but then I came home and listened to it...I have a lovely momento, hearing us both say our vows, hearing my husband choke up at the promise to cherish me means more to me than anything in the world! We were told our pictures would be about 5 weeks, however we received them in the mail today....only 3 weeks in! I appreciate everyone who put forth effort into our day to make it a memorable experience. THANK YOU CHAPEL OF THE BELLS!

We wanted a simple little inexpensive wedding and thought that was what we were getting, it was supposed to be $185 package with $95 down and $90 due at time of wedding. We thought we would take our own picturesbut then when we got there they had a sign that said absolutley no cameras in the chapel. So we asked how much pictures would be and they said no fee for taking the pictures and it would be $85 for the pictures when they were ready. So we went ahead with the ceremony which was lovely, then after the ceremony they took the pictures. Everything was very rushed as we were the last wedding of the day and they all just wanted to get us out of there so they could go home. After the pictures were taken he ran my card and I signed it without looking at it (Stupid me). When we were in the limo driving away I looked at the credit card receipt and it was for $152 instead of $90. I asked the driver (who was also the photographer) why the difference and he said it was for a DVD sound track of the wedding and a convenience fee. I told him I never ordered a DVD and I was never informed of a convenience fee. He didn't offer anything to help me out. So the next day I called the chapel and they agreed to remove part of the extra charges for the DVD but insisted I still had to pay the convenince fee. I have called my credit card and am disputing it but so far nothing has been resolved, And finially, last but not least, when I finially got to see my pictures( a whole month later I might add), the charge for the CD itself of only 32 pictures, was almost $500. We cannot afford that, and just ordering one 8x10 is about $100 with shipping and handling. So now we do not have any pictures of our wedding.which is very sad.
So please people, beware when booking your wedding, some on the Chapels are on the up and up and don't try to rip you off, some of them offer affodable weddings that include the pictures, so please don't make the same mistakes we did, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH CHAPEL OF THE BELLS!!!

To start off we were picked up by Chris from our hotel by a very classy upscale executive car at the Palms. It's funny because there were all these limo's and SUV super stretch gas guzzlers but in spite of that my fiancé and I were the one's whom where escorted off in style. We were then taken to get the marriage license which took twenty minutes tops. From there we were taken to the Chapel of the Bells. As soon as we step in the door we were greeted and taken care of. The lady at the desk was very polite and knew exactly what we wanted. Even though you could tell she had been in the industry awhile, her enthusiasm made it seem as if we were the first couple she assisted in a wedding. Yes, the pictures were pricey. However we were not charged for the photographer, Lisa, so I did not mind paying for the pictures. They were shot professionally and the quality was fantastic. The minister was very professional and gave a great service. I could not ask for anything more. We had a wonderful wedding.

We first thought that it was a good idea. I mean come on, celebrities have used it, Hollywood used it, nothing can go wrong right??? Yeah of course. If you have lots of money to deal with their "SCAM".
They will first tell you you will have to put down a down payment for a reservation. Sure that makes sense, you're trying to reserve the place for a once in a life time wedding, we can make that reservation fee. Then when you actually arrive for the wedding the first thing they'll tell you is that GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANY PICTURES....
well, what the heck.... Well okay that's fine... The chapel will have a cameraman and we'll be able to order a CD with pictures for a $280.00 payment... Hmm, that's fair. Well, not really, it's a scam already but I'll deal with these criminals anyways. The fact is, the $280.00 you are paying for is nothing but a DVD recording of the wedding 10 minutes and an audio recording of your wedding (what? Audio recording? Yeah, exactly) and 9 pictures (3 copies of 3 different pictures) that the chapel decides to choose and sends to you. They will not even ask which pictures you want but they will arrogantly just choose what they think are the best pictures... Then when you ask them, "well, what the hell? Where are the other pictures? They'll tell you that it costs $580.00 to get a CD of all the pictures of the ceremony to be sent to you.
Additionally, they will tell you it will take 10 days for them to upload the pictures of the ceremony to view andick and choose to be burnt on the CD but in actuality, it t skew more like 3 month of constantly calling them and threatening them that we'll sue them to up if they will not up,pad the pictures. And don't ever try to be nice with these criminals when ever the tell you they don't have slot of people to service you.they have zero professionlity and lck of responsibility. We don't give a rats butt of how "busy"they are. If you are taking in and providing a service and product to a customer, you better be doing everything within the basic profession necessary to care for the customer. And besides, I'm not asking for anything extraordinary. I'm just asking for the pictures of e ceremony that you guys told us when we got there that guests are not allowed to take pictures so you better be damnsr e you have some good service on on following up with some brood service on providing the wedding pictures.
