Incredible details in this museum of miniature homes, farms, churches, toy shops and more from many different eras! Absolutely fascinating!

Good if you like miniatures

It's not part of the Gilmore museum but you car walk to it. I personally didn't find it interesting I expected miniature cars. But if you like this stuff you might like the visit.

Small but magical
maj 2019
I had taken my son to the car museum next door and stumbled upon this free museum. They do accept donations and we of course enjoyed it so much we left a little something. The building is small but there is soooo much to see. My 7 year old is a car nut (aka our first stop that day) but he really enjoyed this place. We had fun looking at all the little scenes. I would like to go back as there is so much to see in all the amazing little details.

fascinating displays
wrz 2019
This small museum is on the grounds of the Gilmore Car Museum and is definitely worth stopping in to see their collection of exquisitely detailed miniatures. We were told that the museum collection--much of which is not currently on display--is moving to a larger building in Grand Haven, MI, next year and will gain much more display space. We enjoyed checking it out while it was still there, spending about one-half hour.

Simply amazing what folks will collect/spend money on

This is a free museum - donations requested - and it is well worth a stop simply to see the detailed rooms/houses/attractions that artists have created. I guarantee you will be amazed if you aren't too jaded with "stuff"!

MINIATURE MARVEL

A dear friend of mine took me here, due to it was right next door to a car museum. She knows I am an avid miniaturist. It was a wonderful experience. The displays were top notch, very well organized, and just a delight. if your a mini lover, or just want to see things small, i highly recommend making the trip. It took us over two hours to arrive, but well worth it. Then they have a little shop right at the entrance to pick up items.

Fantastic Miniatures Museum

This hidden gem is well worth searching out. Not too far from Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Midwest Miniatures Museum has a fascinating collection of miniatures in several scales. This is a must-see for an miniatures maker or collector.

I came across this while visiting the car museum entry was free but a donation would be appreciated I'm sure, they had a great collection of miniatures which is not normally something I look at but I found it amazing and the detail was superb I'm glad I stopped in well worth the time.

Into miniature houses? Check this place out!
wrz 2018 • Pary
Okay, first of all, I am not into miniature houses. But since it is located on the grounds of the Gilmore Cart Museum, we took a tour. I found it pretty interesting to see the artistry involved. It is not necessarily spacious - this is an old house, not a modern museum-style building, after all. But it is wall-to-wall miniatures. Even in the kitchen and restroom. We took a tour (lasted only about 15 minutes) with an artist who was holding the fort that day, and that was helpful. Sorry, I forgot to upload photos. Admission is free; there is a donation box on the front desk. Again, if you are interested in miniature houses, etc, this is probably worth your visit.

On the grounds of the much larger Gilmore Car Museum.
A nice little find, especially for families.
Pop in while visiting the bigger museum.
