Not a typical roadside attraction!

Impressive collection of antique farm tools! Excellent value for the money. Family friendly experience! Owner lives on site. Extremely friendly and helpful people. Surprisingly, huge barn has a large tennis court and farm tool collection. Well maintained and clean! Well worth stopping. We were allowed to walk the museum and see the animals at our own pace. Deer were tame and behind fences. Apples available for purchase. Deer will approach fence to be feed. Would visit again!

Love the deer & the museum

We've been here a few times, today was a great day to visit and see the big bucks, & all the deer and checked out the museum also, I recommend stopping if you love deer and old things. He also has an additional building with lots of mounts that we've seen in the past.

Land of the Deer

The structure at the parking area contains an extensive collection of mounted deer antlers. Another structure has a large collection of hay lifts and chainsaws, as well as tame deer that are located directly outside. Outdoor sports enthusiasts should visit this museum. For golfers, a fine golf course is only a few long tee shots away. It’s all located at a convenient and rural location – just north of Interstate 94.

Great time feeding all the deer and seeing all the very, very unusual things in the whitetail museum. Also very much enjoyed all the old farm equipment. Great experience.

MUSEUM VERY COOL
mar 2019 • Pary
This is a neat place to visit, not expensive, and much more to see, other then just the deer. They have a barn full of old professional use chainsaws, antiques, even a tennis court to rent, as well as tennis lessons. The smaller museum building has many trophy deer heads, as well as traps, other stuffed animals, news clippings and much more.

Just like the name says

The billboard got me to stop. Not a hunter or deer enthusiast but the museum was pretty cool. Lots of deer mounts. Record holders, variants and a few other animals. Some date to the 1930s. Lots to learn and read especially for a novice like me. Large barn outback has a collection of chain saws and a giant collection of barn hay pulleys - like I didn't know there was such a thing, let alone to see displayed hundreds of varieties, manufactures and makes. While interesting, this area needed more descriptive information for city boys like me. I enjoyed the variety of designs but left not knowing much more about hay pulleys than when I got there. There are deer to feed apples to, but this was a little misleading. Most deer parks allow you to enter the deer area and feed deer. Here you need to stand at a fence and hope they come over. As we got there late-ish in the day they must have all been full because they didn't come over to eat. Disappointed kids for sure. So a 4 star despite these limitations because of super high marks for uniqueness and education in the deer museum area.

Family Friendly Fun...

On a whim we decided to visit on Labor Day. It was worth our 30 minute drive. We found the owner to be very helpful and kind. Additionally, while he was feeding the deer, he very gently ushered them to get up, which they did and our daughter then enjoyed feeding a couple of very friendly white deer. We were also pleasantly surprised by the museum that show cased many deer, but also many other animals like a moose, wolverine, coyote and polar bear skull. Anatomical abnormalities were also showcased which made the visit very education. Don't forget to bring cash (no credit cards or checks). Ultimately our visit was very nice full of family friendly fun.

Deer and antiques
lis 2014 • Dla rodziny
Went here with two families and it was neat. About 15 deer in the surround pens with some big bucks and albinos too. Inside the museum the deer mounts are off the charts, lots of them to see and review. In the large building there is a host of antiques including old chainsaws, barn pulleys, rakes, etc. Plan on about 90 minutes without kids...maybe less if your kids aren't into hunting.

Horrible Porta Potty
cze 2014 • Dla rodziny
We drive by this place often and I was curious to check it out. Admission is $5 per Adult, and $1 per Kid. If you want to feed the Deer it is $1 per apple (pre cut in a zip lock bag). It was neat to pet the one momma deer that allowed us to pet it. The others pretty much just ate the apple chunks but didn't really let you pet them. Not a lot to do -- a walk up and look out area, a small museum something similar to what you might see for free at a metro park. A chain saw/old tool area if your interested in that kind of thing. The worst part of the experience was I needed to use the restroom, and when we arrived Craig (the owner) informed us there was a porta potty located in the back area. It was an old style and I don't think it has been cleaned in years. The STENCH was enough to take your breath away, I was so nauseous when exiting and was maybe in their a minute or two. PLUS THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER! I informed the owner who could care less said he would be right on it, as if he was unaware of the condition of the restroom. I think not, he lives on this property!
