Had high expectations having enjoyed the Vero Saturday green markets as well as West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach and Palm Beach Gardens markets. What we really experienced were 6 - 8 wonderfully dedicated vendors selling their products. Bought lobster ravioli, mango yogurt and pistachio baklava but not much more available. As committed as the vendors are it’s just not a farmers market so much as a small gathering of people paying Brevard County to advertise and provide a stall for their product. Again, wonderful people but 6 - 8 vendors no matter how dedicated can create a “market” atmosphere. Brevard shouldn’t be charging these people for offering their wares to the few people who attend.

This "park" is little more than dirt and gravel. There is no lawn area and no plants or flowers offering any varying colors or beauty. The picnic tables are disgusting and "sticky" -- no place to eat comfortably. And the Senior Center is very drab and dated. Melbourne is growing by leaps and bounds, yet probably the biggest park in the county is extremely uninviting and just plain boring.

Beautiful park, nice spacious sites. However, when you make a reservation, be sure to get your site included in your email confirmation. We were told site 4, site 4 was circled on the map, so that's where we went. Two days later, they called and told us they had put us in the wrong spot and we were to move to site 3 by 11 am the next day. We did rather than be asked to leave. But during the next 3 days that we were there, nobody pulled in to site 4. There was absolutely no reason for us to move.

This park isn't what people say it is to be honest this dose have some possives but theirs too Manu negatives it not funny. Trails aren't very good theirs stumps that you can chrip and fall not gonna lie. Then you have some rude people in the park almost like they get mad for no reason, then you have the camp ground which is other flag also impossible to get a site ang when you do its not even wroth it half of the time yea some people are nice but it's like even wroth the time to go to them, also some of the rangers are just rude and it's like they give you an audited for no reason then it's always no ranger the gives you a hard time or it's like they don't want nothing to do with anyone even if you ask for help or something so stupid. Then the bathrooms aren't even clean half of the time and even if the do clean them it's half fast and they clean them soo late in the afternoon it's ridiculous it should be done before the park is even open.then when you can't even get a campsite it's a other issue like they want you to make these reservations just to get a site for four or 3 nights that or their like oh we have a site for one night ridiculous because you have to set up everything then break it down not even wroth it. This park has soo many red flags it's sad

Wick ham Park is a beautiful park, but the RV campground is not where you want to be. The only thing it has going for it is that it is cheap...$25 a night. The sites are poorly laid out and need gravel or concrete pads. The lighting in the park was non existent.....I have never been any place so dark!!
Bathrooms offer little privacy if you want to shower. I cannot recommend it and would not return.

Wonderful walk, great for biking, the gopher tortoise s are magnificent creatures (we saw seven yesterday, two baby horned owls and their mother, a black racer and a huge number of birds. The dog park is fun to observe/all different species.......disc golf is very popular, this is a great place to picnic....bathrooms are spotless. The campground is a work in progress........but used hard. Check out the scheduled events.

Wickham Park is a beautiful park. My family and I went hiking in the park and it was beautiful scrub area. We saw lots of gopher tortoises as well as birds and other animals. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it for families!

Don't bring your dog to the dog parks. No rules in place for tags on dogs by Ranger Office or Brevard County Parks and Recreation. Big dog park is separate from little dogs. OK. Recent dog fight in big dog park and owners cursing at each other. Went to Ranger Station and they told me they knew about it and did nothing. So in either dog park, they have no dog tag rules; in other words, some aggressive dogs may be in there with no proof they have their rabies or other shots.

Planned for 6 months to travel to Melbourne and stay at the campground. What the staff failed to say is the campground is over run with homeless. First night there at 3:30 AM about 15 cops show up for a DV. Of course it was a homeless person who caused this. I cut my stay short because this problem runs wild in the campground. Also while I was in there I walked into the bathroom and witnessed a homeless male jacking off in the shower. That's right! jacking off! The homeless also cook meth in their tents and have been busted for ti many times. My dogs were attacked by the dog of homeless fools. When I addressed this with parks and rec I was told we don't discriminate. This has nothing to do with race or religion. They are homeless and drug users. I couldn't ever enjoy my stay because I was so worried every time I would leave I was afraid my pop up would be broken into by these people. Thanks Wickham Park staff for taking the time to not inform me that your campground is full of drugs

Depends on type of site. Call the park ranger office 321-255-4307 they can provide the site descriptions and pricing. Have fun...bring fishing rods, disc golf supplies, archery equipment, and bikes!

Are there alligators in the ponds of Wickham Park?
What precautions should one take near the ponds with babies?

It's mating season for gators so they move around from pond to pond and canal a lot trying to pick up chick gators. Just because there wasnt one last week doesn't mean there isn't one this week. Stay 20 feet away from gators on the ground because they move fast. They can jump out of water straight up. They run faster in mud than you can. Never leave your babies alone or in a hot car.

Wondering if drone flight is allowed in the park, and where it is allowed if so? Is it necessary to notify the airport, heloport, etc if we do fly in the park?

They used to allow RC airplanes but no longer do so I don’t think drones would be allowed either. We have seen them flown there.
