Ubuhle women beadwork show was there when we happened to accidentally walk in because we'd just taken a walk in the adjacent botanical garden. I was so excited...I'd heard a talk, seen a film and touched a small piece of the beadwork when this exhibit traveled near my home earlier this year...but was unable to see the entire exhibit. This is an extraordinary and gorgeous exhibit to look at in person. The beadwork is phenomenal. I'm so glad I stopped by!

I happen to have know Ms. Funk, the most generous benefactor who was responsible for making this museum possible. She was a sweet and talented lady, and loved textiles more than anyone I know. The staff at the Center is so incredibly dedicated, and the exhibits they curate are first-class and fascinating. I never miss an opening! What a wonderful gem we have here in our county!!!

This small museum on the campus of a university deserves more attention than it gets. I viewed an informative exhibition of Bedouin artifacts collected in Saudi Arabia in the 1960's. The museum itself is nicely laid out with convenient restrooms, seating areas, an elevator and a small museum store. However, it was difficult to find as the listed address is for the university campus, not for the museum itself. Signage is inadequate and the museum itself can't be seen from the adjacent parking lot because
of a screen of tropical foliage. One must cross a covered wooden bridge to get to the museum from the parking lot.

I have not seen other museums of this sort. Its very educational and a bit "funky"! You can view this in a short time while on campus.

Have seen a few really wonderful exhibits here, only trouble is parking is always a bit of an issue. Take in the Botanical garden next door once you've found a parking place.

I have been to a number of the exhibitions here. Each is curated beautifully with excellent notes, and nice helpful docents and staff. By viewing the textiles and from around the world, I also learn more about other cultures in a broader sense. It is a small museum and a nice haven from a hot summer afternoon. If weather permits, stroll a short distance to the Botanical Garden nearby. The student dining hall also is open to the public.

Not a museum for everyone although has something new and educational for everyone. A positive experience for those who wish to expand their worldliness.

The campus security guard told us of the exhibit, so after walking the botanical garden, we thought it would be a great place to cool off. The displays were quite interesting, some from Turkey and Uzbekistan..

"Hidden" on the campus of Florida Tech is a great museum dedicated to textiles and the creativity and history associated with textiles. We very much enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to the next exhibit. Check it out and the Botanical Gardens while on campus.

Wonderful show of works by Hye Shin, entitled "Light and Shadow." Even purchased a unique set of earrings in the lobby!
