Located on Terminal B (Tom Bradley) at LAX, this lounge is perfect for people that have a few hours of lay-over time. They charge US$10 per hour or US$50 for all-day stay! The lounge has comfortable chairs, a lot of computers with internet access, free WiFi and light snacks. I am sitting at the lounge as I write this review and I'm thoroughly impressed. You can have as much coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, muffins, and even light sandwiches and snacks. There is an option to buy alcohol for a fee. The lounge is well-maintained and staff constantly re-stock the fridge. We initially paid for 3 hours, but decided to stay on & the manager only charged us $5 each for the extra hour! Who said you had to travel business class to have lounge access! Highly recommended!
P.S.
No toilet/shower facilities- but the airport toilet is by the entrance.

I had a six hour (ugh!) layover at LAX. I had read about the reLAX lounge--a place away from the hubbub of the airport. You do have to pay--since I was there the price has gone up slightly--but it is not that much and with the amenities you get, well worth it. When you walk into this tranquil environment there are lounge chairs, tables and chairs for work, and complimentary refreshments (coffee, tea, bottle water, juice and soda), sandwiches, cookies, muffins, danishes, fresh fruit and free internet/wireless. When you factor in what you would pay within the airport for these amenities, the cost for the lounge--$15/hr., $30/3 hrs./$50/all day--doesn't seem bad. The one problem can be locating reLAX. It is between Terminals 3 and 4, upstairs. LAX is a huge airport so getting there, with luggage, can be a chore. Also, when I was within the terminals asking for directions people didn't know where it was. There are brochures around the airport. Bathrooms are right outside the lounge. We spent about 3 hours at the ReLAX lounge at LAX Terminal 4 after traveling all day and still facing a 5 hour layover before another 15 hour flight. Yes it costs money, but life is short and some layovers are long! The terminal was a madhouse- we would've lost our minds sitting there for 5 hours. The ReLAX lounge was a lovely oasis of tranquility that allowed us to log on, play cards, whatever, in peace and quiet. Every airport needs one of these.

Not sure where Martin W went - but I was there on Feb 8 2014 and there are major constructions going on. There is no access upstairs in the Tom Bradely Terminal at all. Noone could tell me if or when the lounge will reopen, the only eating place was a small bar/cafe on the ground floor. Looks like the construction will be going on for quite some time. If anyone knows of any other lounge area that could be used before checking in, I would love to know. (not including lounges on the departure side - as I have a long wait and cannot checkin till late at night)

In the current we consider a decent WiFi and a waiting area inside the Airport after the baggage pick up is considered essential. And these are lacking in LAX. For international passengers new to the Airport find it very difficult to find another passenger in the terminal with out such facilities. Displays on arrival and departures on a larger coverage were again missing. Information for people arriving to airport were very little from the official pages or by other web page providers. This we are writing to bring into notice responsible people to LAX to take action. WiFi facility is very inexpensive so signal must be strong enough to communicate and must be free at least for an hour. Our experience of the free WiFi was that the mobile even did not allow us to be connected as it said it is insecure and advertisement funded. Passengers do not want insecure malware to be loaded into their mobile. Please be helpful.

I ended up stuck in LAX for 7 hours waiting for a plane after a missed connection and this place made it a very comfortable experience. I'm sitting here in a lounge chair with my feet up, good Internet, my computer plugged into a power strip right next to the chair and the glass of free wine that came with my $50 all day price next to me on the table. The place is quiet and relaxing, lots of free little snacks and drinks. A very civilized way to spend time stuck in an airport.

This is a great option to spend a few hours if you are between flights if you don't have access to any airline lounges. It is great particularly if you need to charge your devices, do some work, check the internet etc. It is nice and quiet - a stark contrast to the noisy food court outside. The snacks and drinks are all included, other eats/drinks you have to pay. But you can buy something outside and bring it in too. Only negatives is all the construction on the TBIT means all the views of the aircraft and hangars is minimal now. The only other point is the toilets are just outside the front door, so unless you have someone to watch your things, going outside to the toilets with your belongings can be a hassle. But if you have to spend more than 3 hours during a delay or layover, it is well worth the money. It isn't worth it for maybe an hour, but anything over two hours, it is money well spent.

I found it a bit jaded although the food and facilities are good, weirded lift musac playing too loud and the bar staff seem to spend all their time chatting to each other at times to the point of distraction. Not enough seats with charging points adjacent. Showers are excellent. This picky revenue might be because I'm tired and facing a 11 hr flight.

Maybe one day LAX will finally become a modern airport, but until then the Relax lounge is the only place to keep your sanity during a long layover in the Int'l Terminal. Great service, relaxing atmosphere, and comfy furnishings. Only downside is the internet could be a little faster, but it did just fine for me after it "warmed up" for 15 minutes. Keep it up!
