Beautiful, peaceful park with a more natural feel than some others
sty 2020
Wonderful spot for a walk or a picnic. Much of the park has been left in its natural state, with trees and wild grasses. Disregard the reviews below regarding safety and cleanliness--in the past few years the park has been cleaned up to the point that I was there today and didn't see a single piece of litter. The natural spring coming out of the rock formation is particularly interesting to check out.

Picnic spot and lake
lip 2018 • Dla rodziny
Cosy picnic spot for families with small jungle gym area. No entry fee . Quiet and private but beware if not in a group. Lush green grass for walking dogs. Great for, family picnic get together as no space constraints. Parking available close to picnic area. Place is clean and fishing can be done at the small lake to pass the time.

Parkrun venue
cze 2018 • Wyjazd w pojedynkę
As with all public parks in Johannesburg, it's best to visit in a group or explore with scheduled events like Parkrun The park is well maintained and the run takes one through scenic parts of the park. A well organized outing.

Albert’s farm past it’s prime
wrz 2017 • Znajomi
This piece of real estate in a crossroad of town and country needs some tender love and care! There is a natural spring producies clear, clean water, and empties into a tranquil pond so that birds and other wildlife can benefit from it. There is a lot of history tied up in this park, but it has not been maintained. There is a lot of garbage, human, and dog waste lying about this gift to the inhabitants of Johannesburg. Although there is a Park run each week in the park, it seems that the homeless, and pickers now live here. There are a couple of poorly maintained family graves dating back to South Africa’s 19th century history. This is an ideal heritage opportunity. There is a deserted community facility that should be used by the local, and surrounding community.

Park run event
sie 2017 • Znajomi
The Park run initiative at Alberts farm celebrated its 3 year anniversary yesterday..The nature is magnificent here ! Amazing views from the top of the hill to Joburg"s skyline and surrounding areas, downhill rocks and cradle,a small dam, two bridges crossings and a challenging terrain, but so worthy and rewarding. It is a more of a trail run than a park run .Here at Alberta farm is the only fresh sparkling water source in Gauteng .Any time of the year it is picturesquely beautiful, many birds and indigenous plants decorate the park and make it more interesting.

A WALK IN THE PARK!
lip 2016 • Pary
Being a resident in Northcliff, this wonderful Green Oasis is, fortunately, on our doorstep. Although there is no sign of visible security guards, there is a feeling of safety, peace and serenity. The surrounds of this park are well tended and clean, but there are no ablution facilities, and the refuse bins are too few and far between. There is one fresh water tap. I suggest one should be equipped with a "pooper scooper" and a plastic refuse bag plus a water bowl. The positives are:- Alberts Farm is a reasonably clean, large, green suburban expanse ; It is a well attended facility; There is a dam which has an abundance of resident ducks and geese; This Park boasts great views of the Jo'Burg CBD; There are wonderful scenic walks. I would highly recommend Alberts Farm for nature and dog lovers and also, Sunday Strollers!

Tranquil place for nature lovers and families
kwi 2015 • Znajomi
Alberts Farm Conservancy is the second-biggest green lung in Johannesburg and is a great place to run, cycle or just go for gentle walks, to fly a kite or picnic with the family. It is a place that grows on you with each visit and there is a spectacular view of the city at the top of the ridge. There are dams, wetland, marsh, spring and stream and it is home to around 139 species of birds and many indigenous plants, shrubs and grass. On Saturday mornings it is host to a Parkrun and many cyclists. The only drawback is that there are no ablution facilities.
